Is it just me or does anybody see how good Damon show how deep his feeling is when remembering Elena?

God I'm rewatching vampire diaries and these two especially have come a long way. Wow! 😍
And this was the woman who once thought elena only loved damon because of the sirebond how things change
The necklace does for Damon what it did for Elena in 1x3. It gives him a choice. He could choose to do as Sybil wants, just as Elena had the choice to kiss Damon. Or he could choose to smack Sybil upside the head, just as Elena slapped Damon across the face. He chooses based on what he believes, and he believes Elena is never going away. Stefan gave Elena the necklace to protect her from Damon's influence, now it's protecting Damon from Sybil's influence. Dog slipped his collar because he knows who his master is lol. "I'll do whatever it is you need me to do, Elena. No one's going to hurt you. Especially not my brother." That's why Stefan can't even stop what's happening.
Sybil was so pathetic, trying to replace Elena.

He said it himself.
He knew then that despite Elena's choice of compelling him away, *somehow* her love for him was still in tact. Whether she believed it/could feel it or not, he was still there in her heart. That's why she was able to come back to him/fall for him again.
And here, despite Sybil's controlling over Damon's mind and memories of Elena, Caroline's giving him the necklace was her way of reminding him of that: That true love always prevails, that his and Elena's love for each other was still there, that it was never truly taken from him, that in his heart Elena was still in tact. Which is why, through the necklace, he was able to feel her again. No matter what Sybil was capable of, Elena's spirit would still be with Damon. ❤

Yea. I think by the last epsoide Elena will wake up but I don't know if she will be with Damon again because the actors broke up in real life she might be with Stefan again
she won't be with stefan. that makes no sense considering how the last couple of seasons were written. nina and ian broke up before season 5 started and still managed to be together by the time season 6 ended. if their break up really was terrible then they would of put stelena together around season 5 or 6 but they didn't.

when Elena decided to erase her and Damon's memories, she talked about the necklace, when he gave her the necklace back (3x01) she says she knew she had hurt Damon, (because it gave her and her brother hope) but at that moment She loved it, she didn't want it, but she loved it, and he gave it back whenever she lost it.

Elena was put in a sleeping curse for 60 years the chacter Kai killed his sister Jo at her wedding at end of the 6th season and he like knocked Elena out there was glass flying everywhere and Elena flew back and was knocked unconscious. then she went into like a coma. and he linked Bonnie life to Elena"s so if she wakes up Bonnie would die
