Thanks for the review! I'm learning so much about boards from videos like these.
So I got this exact board(23' juggernaut) with a pair of bindings on a nice discount...not realizing(like a rookie) that I need to consider the stiffness/shape of a board... I made sure it was a good length for my weight though. I would call myself an intermediate/beg rider that has not been in a few years at least. I used to go more as a kid.. and grew up skateboarding my whole life even now at 26. I know how to link turns, skate off one foot, control speed pretty well, and maybe do a tiny hop haha.. but that is it. I got to a point where I felt comfortable and had a lot of fun just making turns down greens and blues.
For anyone more experienced/knowledged than I.. do you think I will have a hard or bad time on this board? So-cal area. I keep reading online that stiff boards like this make it easier to catch edges and are better for going at high speeds.. but will I suddenly just be eating s*** because of this? Or would having a basic understanding allow me to comfy on it? I'm willing to put in the effort and take a few falls, especially because I would like to learn to hit a jump or obstacle eventually. But I am worried now about how tough it will be to ride if I'm on greens or blues. I've only ever ridden rental boards provided to me. Any help is appreciated haha!
