    About the softkeys not getting recalled:
    In a scene everything gets saved. Not everything gets recalled though. You can setup these filters or saves in the scenes tab. (per scene or globally). Check out the User Guide at page 58.

    Great Video! How do we add fx to individual channels on Mix9&10?

    • @eravoxstudios3078
      @eravoxstudios3078  Před 15 dny

      Hit the layers button. Push Mix 9-10 button, these are your fx returns for 9-10(they’re on the left). Set those 4 faders for fx 1-4 to unity(0). Then hit the channels button. Then hit fx 1-4(they’re on the right), which ever fx you want to use, and then set desired amount of fx on any of the 32 channels using the “channel” faders, so if you have a vocal on channel 1 and a reverb on fx 1, you’d hit fx 1 and then turn the fader on channel 1 up to desired amount. If you don’t turn up the return faders, like I mentioned, the fx won’t be heard though. Make sure you go to layers to get those returns to unity.

    Is it possible to have different effects on different mixes, such as mix one is the live room and has very little reverb, while mix 5 is live stream and has more reverb?

    • @eravoxstudios3078
      @eravoxstudios3078  Před rokem +1

      Yup. First, go to the layers. Hit live room output button and bring down FX Return faders to desired amount. Then hit mix 5-6 output button and set the FX Returns to unity.

    Please kindly explain how to connect the Tascam CD-RW900SL CD recorder to an Allen& Heath Qu-32 Qu series digital mixing console or mixer. I have tried without any breakthrough. Your feedback will be highly appreciated. Thanks

      So you’re gonna need to get your audio from the board into the recorder. There are a ton of options to route signs out of the qu 32. I think this is the best fit though: To record an identical copy of your main mix, use the 2TRK outs or alternate outs located next to the main outs. You’ll need TRS to RCA cable because the tascams analog inputs are RCA. Go to SETUP/OUTPUT PATCH/SURFACE to make sure those are routed correctly.

    what are the FX that suits a countrymen microphone in a mini mega church ?

    • @eravoxstudios3078
      @eravoxstudios3078  Před 3 lety +2

      I’d try a short hall reverb. Assuming you’re in a big room, reverb may not even be needed. I’d notch out harsh frequencies with the eq. Then compress with medium attack and fast release, 3-5db of gain reduction. A dash of reverb and the pastor should sound real nice.

    Help. Coming into a church and they have this board. they want me to run sound for them because they think I have a better ear. I would like to one-button mute the assigned effects so that as they song wraps up, and the worship[ leader may speak, I want to kill all effects with one button instead of running back through the sliders. Can you offer me a source that would explain this? Is it even possible?

    • @eravoxstudios3078
      @eravoxstudios3078  Před 2 lety

      The first thing I can think of would be hitting the layers button and then you can see all fx and stuff. Mute the fx there.
      Or I’m sure there is a way to assign fx mute to one of the soft keys on the right side. I would look up “program mute fx on soft key qu32” on CZcams

      @@eravoxstudios3078 Thanks! I didn't even know what the layers was until I looked it up after your reply. I'll bet I can it it all with one button from there. I was wondering why there wasn't a buss just for FX. I just couldn't find it. I try it this afternoon.

      @@AuthorJamesBeltz ya man, that should be an easy way to get there for now. Programming a soft key would be cool too!

      @@AuthorJamesBeltz hey man, I know I’m late to respond to this, but thought I’d chip in for information sake.
      I set up mute group 4 to mute all my FX Busses, then setup SoftKey 5 to mute group 4. So 5 mutes all FX at the touch of a button, and 10 is tap tempo as in the video. Hope that helps someone

      This gave me a good laugh! Hahaha you’re not wrong about that... Analog boards have everything laid out right in front of you. The digital boards are nuts how one fader can do to multiple things.
