I just love and adore you. This also goes for drag because the contours are typically five shades darker not one or two. So when you powder you can still see it and when the stage light hits you aren’t Casper. And the purple really makes the contours blend into the highlights and I “mid tone” with a cool toned pink into clown white and put a highlight on the gradient between the white and pink. It’s basically every undertone/depth color theory on one face and it is why I love the art form of drag so much
I am very fair with a warm yellow undertone. Understanding color theory is important for fair skin too. I can only wear cool toned blushes if they have a clear base to them. If there is a white base forget it! But a clear base like the viral Dior blush will mix with my undertone and create a warm pink blush. Add white and it won't mix, will remain cool and will clash with my skin tone

That actually kinda explains why I use find that purple sahding looks better on my darker skinned OCs
Beautiful 😍
As an artist, I'm proud to say that I knew about this because of some color testing. It's so pretty!
i love this so much. i really love that in only the past 10 years we have made SIGNIFICANT progress towards making makeup truly inclusive. This vid shows that its important for companies to choose colors for a makeup product that is applicable to all skintones. this vid clearly shows the true knowledge of color theory and makeup allowing the doors of the makeup communitys to open for EVERYONE!! 💗💜
I’m brown as in i’m a white mexican but i still use purple blush and i love it, i feel it’s such a versatile blush shade
I’m brown as in I’m a white Mexican…🤕
@@true4585 means she is hispanic white mixed so her skin color is brown
@@suhi6504 White Mexicans are still (on average) pale or slightly tanned (which is still pretty light unless they were born with a slight tan) 😭
@@angsilaw that's what she said. She is white mexican but she has brown skin. Though most white mexicans are pale, doesn’t mean all of them are. Genetics often works in an exceptional way.

“She is White American but has brown skin” 🤕‼️
Imagine being that pretty
Sis do you have a eye tutorial for that purple shadow galaxy like you got going on love it!😩😍
Purple really suits you, that eye make up is 🔥
Lauryn Hill circa. '98 is still my color theory point of reference. 😍 Especially for the lips!
Ngl, rosy cheeks of any hue make me feel slightly clownish, and I'm actually *very* curious about modern day Ms. Hill's rouge....choices.
i love your channel bc i love the representation for brown/ melanin skin 😩😩❤️❤️ much needed thank youuuuu
I don’t think that it’s only important for brown skin, I think it’s important for any kind of skin.
This is absolutely true, I had no idea when I discovered that pinkish blush makes me look tired/older/wrong on my face I tried to explain to other they'd say you're exaggerating it's just a blush. But when I put peachy/ orangy color, I look so healthy and pretty and it looks more natural, Im pale with warm undertone
Shes adorable tell it girl!!✨
Gorgeous. Love the color purple, it’s awesome to see color theory in makeup and awareness spread like this.
It’s basically every undertone/depth color theory on one face and it is why I love the art form of drag so much
Not kidding when I say I am just beginning to add blush to my routine So many blush colors look crazy! This looks so so beautiful! Thank you 🥹
It also looks much smoother onto the skin
I am very fair with a warm yellow undertone. Understanding color theory is important for fair skin too. I can only wear cool toned blushes if they have a clear base to them. If there is a white base forget it! But a clear base like the viral Dior blush will mix with my undertone and create a warm pink blush. Add white and it won't mix, will remain cool and will clash with my skin tone
Color theory is pretty important for all skintones in my opinion of course.
This is SO true! Berry colors look amazing on dark skin!
Orange and brown are always warm because it is yellow (neutral) mixed with red (warm)
Color theory is important for all skin🥰🤚❤️
It's so nice to see a blush designed for brown girls
Your eye makeup is SO gorgeous which palette did you use?
Oh my....she looks sooo pretty 😍💞
Girl the pink is IMMACULATE on you!!! 😍😍😍I’m extremely pale so it’s very easy to look like a clown if I put on too much blush 🤣🤣😩
i’m glad y’all found something 🫶
I’ve never learned so much about my skin tone in 30 years than I did watching your video for 30 seconds … subscribed 😮
I'm in love with her eye makeup. It's so pretty
This lady always reminds me of a fairy 🧚♀️
Purple looks so bomb on you. There’s a SUBTLE difference and it’s so beautiful with the purple. I’m going to buy purple highlight RIGHT NOW!😂❤
okay but what eyeshadow do you wear? It looks stunning! 😍😍
That makes so much sense cuz I have a purple-ish blush but it always comes out very pink on my skin tone!
That is so cool! I’m fair skinned and I love my Dior blush so I’m really glad there’s another version for a different skin tone
Such a beautiful color 💜🤎
This actually helps my skintones when painting my characters 😂
That eyeshadow is gorgeous
I'm in love with that eye makeup 😍😍😍
Sooo helpful. After living in a tropical country for many years, I've gotten a lot darker, and am having to relearn my colors.
I always thought purple went well with dark skin. Glad to see there’s an actual explanation for it!
its so prettyyy
Your skin tone is the furthest thing from warm. Like it’s textbook cool.
Color theory is important for all skin tones…
Gorgeous eye makeup❣️
it's important to pale skin too
I’m super white, very pale but idc. I love my purple blush and purple highlighter.
Yesss! Orange & Purple are my favorite blushes to use
I feel like the purple compliments your skin tone
This woman has such a unique voice, she should really look into voice acting! Im not kidding it could be a great side hustle or back up job
I thought for a long time that a cold pink would look bad on me, but actually, it looks similar to my natural blush color
Omg that purple looks 🫶🏻
I have a love/hate relationship with color theory when drawing
❤❤❤❤ love that!!!
Very pretty
This is why Grace Jones could rock her mauve-purple and deep purple blushes so easily but it takes a lot more set up to get that kind of payoff on most other undertones ♥️ honestly you would look GORGEOUS in a grace jones look too 👀 🥰
Beautiful!
I love your eye makeup. 🩷
Honestly,
Color theory is important for every skin color. No matter your brown, pale or extra dark. I’m light skinned and more neutral or neutral in some pinky way. But gold and another warm colors looks bad on me. But my sis has opposite problems. Pinkish colors looks dull on her. But warm and neutral colors looks really good on her. Thanks to color theory I had at school I know what mistakes not to do.
Im still watching you for educational purposes. And I love your work. ❤️❤️❤️
Knowing color theory is important every skin tone. It's also important to know your skin type. Do you have oily, combination, dry, or perfect neutral. Pick the formula for your skin type as well as your tones
Looks beautiful on your skin tone
That's so cool learning color theory while doing makeup 😳
That's so cool!
SHES GORGEOUS
so cool!
So good!❤
Your hair is gorgeous 😍🥰
I am black and warm toned and I wear purple blush all the time. I love it
gorgeous
