Are we all just going to ignore the handle shape on the spiderman one? 😂
Came to find a spideypeen comment, thank you😂
@@BaddeGrasseYeah, the first time I heard that it looked like a peen was from JonTron.🤣
I was wondering when Mac was going to mention it… and then he just never did
HONESTLY
It’s definitely……..it definitely looks like something
The Cheetah Girls console looks like an award. Maybe it's a consolation prize for having to play the game
its so fucking pretty!
It's so cute ughhh, I love the starrr
Seeing a 20 something year old playing with toys has never made me this happy before

Welp, that sentence means two things.
@DontReadMyProfilePicture.104ok.
@@dawfurbyI’m gonna stop you right there
@DontReadMyProfilePicture.104 ok, i won't
Mac doing these 2000's toys/games reviews brings life to my dying soul
@DontReadMyProfilePicture.104
кy$🥰❤️💛🧚✨
@DontReadMyProfilePicture.104respect the dedication
Mac could review The Sims and all it's dlc content and have me invested.
Now I was going to say no way he'd give EA hundreds of dollars for all those packs but then I remembered he gave some fake celebrity dress site a thousand dollars and some change, so Imma just mind my broke ass business. 🧍🏾♀️‼️
That would be cool but also if he wasn't willing to spend a bunch of money for this, he'd probably only get like 3 DLC before it hit that ceiling lmao
@@druid_the_lizard_wizardmods.
@@druid_the_lizard_wizard I forgot how fricking expensive that game is. EA be scamming people
Mac is back with his childhood dream granting blessings!
@DontReadMyProfilePicture.104 i didnt lil homie u good

@DontReadMyProfilePicture.104k I won’t
I love how he said “every parent needed to get one for their kids so they can SHUT THE FUCK UP”. With a straight face
someone (or possibly multiple someone's) sat down, drew art and wrote code for all of these things and then released them into our unsuspecting hands. i'd love to meet them and see how they're doing today.
Anyone else agree that no matter when mac posts it still feels like it's years old in the way that the vibe has been the same for years in the single best way I could ever mean it. Mac your content is absolutely unmatched and amazing ❤
Yessss
No
Mac you should review Leapfrog consoles (if you can even call them that) they're basically educational based games for kids, as a kid I loved them. Some games were wild tho 💀
OMG YES
YESSSS either the game consoles or the electronic readers that came with a stylus - parents would have to buy storybooks & cartridges so that you could use the stylus to interact with the pages, LOVED those
I had almost every leapfrog console and it was all I lived off of
YES 😭😭😭
@@SnazzJazomg thank you for unlocking this memory, I had completely forgotten about this!
I still have my Dream Life Superstar game, but I gave the original game to my cousin. To a lonely kid that game was extremely engaging, lemme tell you. And like, I had multiple versions of the Sims, so I had better options, but for some reason I found Dream Life charming.
Legit same, I played them almost religiously then remembered them like a fever dream a few months ago. Mostly superstar and the fashion designer one, but I’d still go back and play the first one. It felt like going home after a long trip.. My mom threw mine out, I wish still had mine I loved them so much.
Same!
Yes!! To 8 year old me this game was everything I couldn't have in real life: social skills, friends, and money 😂😭
I think if I had that game, I would Def be so happy lol, I was a lonely and depressed kid.
literally as mac was giving his review on it I was like "i think i would've liked it.." lmaoo cuz i actually did have the sims on my xbox and my pc, but I know I also liked playing this one bratz game where u were basically in a mall too, n that was sorta similar to what dream life looked like lol
edit: also i was lonely and socially awkward (if not still socially awkward) as a kid too, so yeah definitely would've loved it
That Spider-Man one is fantastic. The phallic joystick. The glitches. Fantastic
OKAY BUT I had DreamLife and I
H Y P E R fixated on that game for a good amount of my time with it 🤣 😂 I love you Mac for bringing these old school games back from the depths!
I remember dream life! I was 11-12 when it came out and begged for it for Christmas. Had a blast as a kid, but as Mac said I would probably not like it now. Also Mac saying "how do you know, I'm playing a water bottle" just got me cracked up laughing.
Did you just play Dream Life, or were you like me and had both that and it’s sequel Dream Life Superstar? Yeah…I was bored as a kid.
@@melbell0865 I think I just had Dream Life and then another one about fashion?
Dream Life Superstar was my favorite. I lowkey wanna play it again in my adulthood
These things dictated my whole childhood. The Littlest Pet Shop one in particular was my main addiction.
Looking at the crunchy ass dialogue in these games is like looking at those google image examples of what having dyslexia is like, but it’s even worse because it not only feels like I’m looking at an example of dyslexia, but it also felt like I was developing dyslexia as I read that shit.
It might be an inconsequential part, but I loved the little exploration of the landscap that made these games popular in the beggining of the video
Finally I can have the childhood I couldn’t afford through my favorite youtubers🎉🌈💅
I used to have the Pacman plug-and-play that was like an arcade system. It came with Pacman, Dig Dug, Galaga, etc. That shit was my jam.
You know, for all the diaphragm contorting fun that your videos are, I really appreciate the history lessons we get at the beginning of old toy testing videos. It adds context I didn't know I needed :D
I remember so clearly having the SpongeBob plug-n-play when I was a child
Gurl me too😂
I had the Wheel Of Fortune plug-n-play and let me tell you… I still hold a grudge against my mama for solving my winning puzzle 😂
I remember I had three plug and play Starwars games. The haunting screeches of tie-fighters will be forever in my brain.
Oh my god, Dream Life was my SHIT growing up! Everyday after school, I'd go home and play it way into the night, and just so my parents didn't catch me I'd turn down my TV's brightness and put it on mute lol
I had the scooby doo one and it used to terrify me 😂
Would love to see you play those cheap ds games that you could only find at garage sales or at the bottom of the bargain bins.
bro mac is such an awesome human he really helped me embrace my identify with how accepting and open he was about his I didn't want to embrace or address mine because I live in the south, but he gave me the courage to.
The amount of memories this series brings to me it's inmensurable
I feel like most of us would be smarter than a 5th grader if the 2000's wasn't so traumatizing 🥲
Dream Life was my favorite growing up. Forgot about it till now.
I remember I had the SpongeBob one and damn this really unlocked that nostalgia 😂
My favorite game when I was a child was the Liberty Kids game where you make a newspaper about the American Revolutionary War. I loved it so much, I replayed that over and over and never let my sister touch it. We also had a Mulan game, a Barbie Spy game, Barbie Skate and Snowboard game, and Kelly's Pet Parade. XD These were all CDs for the computer, though.
This brought back so many memories!! I used to play Dream Life for HOURSSSS😭
Mac is really putting his back into these videos. Love the little history lesson!
Oohhh my goosshh!!! Memories UNLOCKED AND FLOWING!!!
I had the Dream Life and Designer’s World. Those games had me in a chokehold 😅😂
For real I played Dream Life for months
Best children's toys review channel 🤭
i saw the dreamlife remote and instantly clicked. nostalgia overloadd!
I played the Spider-Man one and I could never beat the first level. I kept falling to my doom and it wasn’t even mine it was my cousins so I could even get good. Thankfully Spider-Man games have come a LOOOOOOONG way
Mac's vibes never fail to make my day better :D
that intro is so video essay material, good job mac!
Yes! Ooo, I would love for Mac to try doing some video essays in his style.
My cousin had a Dora the Explorer one, it was so stupidly hard to play for us at the time that my cousin yanked it and broke it! 😭
I was obsessed with Dreamlife 😭
ALMOST 40 MINUTES OF MAC! Hell yeah! Just what I needed, my anxiety's bein' a B-we-atch!🎉
Ooh, I remember watching JonTron when I was growing up cover those games; it's pretty cool to see you cover them too, Mac!!! 🥰🥰🥰
@DontReadMyProfilePicture.104 Ariana Grande said keep breathing, but she didn't mean you. So stop. ✨🧚🥰❤️💛
Im loving this new semi deep dive feel of this
I used to have a bugged out scooby doo plug n play that was so terrifying. There was a dungeon level where you would find keys and it was genuinely terrifying, it used to make me sob.
Same!!!! The vibes in that level were so off 😬😬
this is honestly really educational, im definitely going to use the info fump at the beginning
its so crazy how it was a massive craze but like 20 years later is barely around
I remember getting a couple Spongebob Plug n' Plays and a Nickelodeon Summer Camp one! I played them incessantly until they were non-functioning.
8:24 moments like this make me believe bro is on the verge of insanity
I know damn well I have the DreamLife PlugNPlay jammed in my closet because I’d use the remote thing as a fake phone with my neighbor. I did not know this shit was THAT expensive LMAOOO
The SpongeBob one was so fun I wish you could’ve gotten one cheap, I’m pretty sure we had deal or no deal and press your luck plug-n-plays also!
for so long i have been wondering what the name of this one plug and play i remember having was, for the life of me i could NOT remember, but i knew if i saw it i would be able to recognize it
i literally GASPED out loud when i saw the Dream Life, all the hours i sat cozy on my top bunk and replayed Dream Life over and over…… Peak Middle School Memories
The way the memories came RUSHING back 😱 I had the Nickelodeon one, the Spongebob one, and a Deal Or No Deal one that Howie Mandel actually did the voice acting for! I also had a Vtech Learning System, which I used to think was the funnest game ever 😂
Hey
You wan.
i had one of these with disney princesses as a child and i loved it sm 💀
Crazy thing is I had the SpongeBob plug and play, and thought that the joy stick being his nose was awesome~ ❤
I loved these growing up! I had Spongebob, Dora, a Disney one, and maybe one other with random games
I used to have the Dream life one when I was a kid and played the heck out of it. I remember wanting to stop playing it after a while but i just got stuck in a never ending loop of signing up for random activities and going through day after day of mundane stoof. the death loop continued when my grandparents bought me Bratz Life. XD
The plug-in games I remember having the most were:
1. A littlest pet shop plug in I had trouble with (I had a hard time with the kitchen/feeding part it was so annoying)
2. A nick plug-in that had a marshmallow on a stick joystick (I remember the mini games pissing me off a lot)
3. A Power Ranger plug-in (That also pissed me off a lot)
4. Plug-in games with the 1000+ arcade games on it (Great memories from those)
I had a garbage bag full of plug-in games and I wish I had them now
I remember playing that fantastic four game
It also makes me think of the one I had for my gameboy
Honestly? I'd buy the Wheel of Fortune one just to spin the wheel too rofl. That Fantastic 4/Incredibles moment. Perfect
OH MY GODS. I had a littlest Pet Shop plug and play in the early 2000s.. Jesus this dragged that memory from the depths
Thank you for reminding me of that Disney princess game I forced myself into believing was a fever dream
I still have one of mine! It was some fashion game that had terrible graphics but it didn’t matter on my box tv 🤣
I used to have the dream life. It actually has a lot more to do like going shopping and movies and a lost of things. I loved it as a kid. It was like an rpg, you leveled up your stats to get different boys. Or make friends. And the stats affected the outcomes. Also you can decorate your room after buying stuff for it like TVs and games and actually interact with the consoles you bought. And buy new clothes to style your character to wear to school the next day
Hey
You wan
I had one that was like 100 games in one (original Mario, Tetris, and some other random ones). I also had a Barbie one where she was like a veterinarian or something I just remember driving in a car and Deal or No Deal because my dad loved watching the show 😂. Damn this video brought back some memories!
Hey
You wan’
I’m going to appreciate the fact that we now associate SpongeBob with cupcakke nowadays 😂
the spider man one totally gives off creepy pasta vibes
I used to have the Dora the explorer plug and play and I’d always play it in my garage when I was younger and this brings back a lot of memories
Spider man could be whole new genre of art
I had the dream life one and I loved it honestly. Childhood memories man
I'm surprised that the Sonic one wasn't mentioned or found. It was green and pretty decent. My brother had the Spider-man one and gurl...you didn't have that different of a time
The Dora one and the V-Smile were SO FUN for young me! Those terrible graphics hold many happy memories 😊
Mac mentioning Persona 5 shocked me for no reason 💀 10:11 I forgot he basically has a whole ass gaming series
Thank you for recording history from another era of computers!
this is so great to see after so long ly mac 😭
I had dream life and the second version. Used to love it. I also had a fashion plug and play game that was really fun.
With the portal one, it reminded me of a game on the wii called Skylanders and that game was my childhood! you would have to go out and buy figuries and put them on the protal to be able to use them and level them up, i had so many of them and it was so much fun to play it!
I now want to see Mac play the sims
Seeing these plug & plays and recognizing the wheel of fortune, Pac-Man and SpongeBob ones made me want to connect with my inner child again
Hey
You wan’
i had the pac man one with a bunch of other arcade games. i had a blast with mine. racing or playing galaga (or however it’s spelled)
Dream Life and Dream Life Superstar were a surprisingly huge chunk of my life that I somehow completely forget about until someone does these types of videos. And then it’s like unlocking an entire quadrant of my childhood memories
I remember Dream Life!! It may have been boring to Mac but that was my entertainment in the early 2000’s 😂
During the whole intro I was trying to think if I ever had a plug and play and was pulling up blanks ... until I saw that wheel of fortune plug and play ... holy shit the memories
I've been having vague memories recently of the disney plug and play (specifically the aladdin game) that i had as a kid but I had no idea if I was just imagining it because i can sometimes accidentally gaslight myself into believing something happened when it really didn't
The spiderman one actually feels like those horror games of "haunted glitchy game"
You always make me laugh Mac. Also, get it boo! That was a really good presentation about the past of games XD I can tell you spent too long looking all that crap up 😅 props!
I busted laughing when I saw the Dream life! Back definitely before 2010 My grandma asked us what we wanted for Christmas to my sister and I, she asked for a sims game for her computer and I asked for a guitar hero game for play 2 and what grandma got us was the Dream Life for my sister, and for me, a Hannah Montana Plug and Play guitar hero ☠️ looking back I regret throwing all of those toys cuz if I would still have that hannah montana guitar I would hang it on my wall as a relic 🤣
Hey
You wan.
Omg I had literally the exact same experience! My whole family used to love that Hannah Montana game 😂
I LOVE how Mac gets us to totally buy into whatever the hell weird niche he has decided to grace us with today. I love this channel ❤
Btw Mac, I love when you put in some research for the history of toys. It's such an intriguing way to draw attention to the product, video and is a great set-up for the products that you're about to review. Makes it even funnier and gives the videos real nice touch of education as well.
10/10 thing to do! Thank you ❤
@MacDoseit1 If it's not a unicorn I'm disinterested
I used to LOVE Dream Life haha
This is the first toy he’s covered that I have genuinely never heard of 😂
this video is so well put together actually
This brought back SO many memories! Growing up, I had the Atari joystick, the Spongebob plug-in play and the V-smile (Dora the explorer game and Care Bears game).
No one but my family and next door neighbor will ever understand how much Dream Life meant to my childhood.
This is so nostalgic for me. I still have the Dream Life one at my parents' house. I might go it to see if it still holds up 😂
I love your review videos!! Amazing video as always ❤
I had the Dora and TMNT ones and COMPLETELY forgot their existence!!!!??!!!!!??!?!?! Thank u Mac for bringing this back into my consciousness
my mom never let me get these because i had a gameboy advance 😂 seeing you play them made me think i wouldn’t have made it far in these even when i was younger so i guess it was the right decision.
Hey
You wan.
I had the DVD version of wheel of fortune and a bunch of PC games from cereal boxes lol my parents wouldn’t buy the plug n play
i saw dream life on the table and was instantly hit with a wave of nostalgia wow
mine was disney with a stitch cave platformer game, lion king fruit matching, mickey and pals mini golf, and some aladdin game! i love it!!!
