½ CUP JAGGERY (1 CUP=250ml)
¾ CUP WATER
COOK UNTIL JAGGERY DISSOLVE
STRAIN
1 CUP WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR
1 TSP BAKING POWDER
½ TSP BAKING SODA
MIX & SIEVE
POUR JAGGERY & MIX
¼ CUP OIL
½ TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
MIX WELL
BRUSH OIL
POUR THE BATTER
SPREAD TUTTI FRUTTI
FIRE UP THE STOVE
PLACE A KADAI & PRE HEAT FOR 5 MIN.
PLACE THE MOULD
COOK FOR 35-40 MIN. IN LOW MEDIUM HEAT
CAKE IS READY, COOL COMPLETELY
CLEAR THE EDGES & REMOVE
CUT IN TO PIECES

Reminds me of my childhood. Mom used to make this cake on my birthdays even though we ordered a cake from the bakery. And even though we had that cake with icing and twice as much sweetness, I always went for this cake. The recipe has a mother's touch to it you know.😊
