Hi Thomas, I saw the video that you test drived the Lotus Emira. I am curious and would like to know what made you choose the Alpine over the Lotus? =)
1. Styling. I prefer the subtle smooth lines of the Alpine versus the supercar-ish look of the Lotus.
2. Weight. Alpine is alot lighter. 1100kg+ with fluids versus 1440 kg on the Lotus Emira. While the Lotus is great, weight is still weight.
3. Driving Experience. The Alpine is more playful than the Emira.
I would have prefer the 3.8L V6 1.1k kg Lotus Exige or 1.3k kg Evora , both spec still overkill compare alpine
Elise 900kg is the direct with Alpine but too raw so i guess Thomas reason is mostly that . Sub 1k kg Weight with comfort
Emira is different price league with the Alpine

Sorry to say that, but isn‘t the „beep“ sound (emergency breaking warning or something) of the alpine annoying to you ? 😄 I notice this in every video of the alpine.
It’s the emergency recording sound from my dash cam. I’ve grown accustomed to it 😂
