PTO + WTS: It will be nice to see this 100K format at Olympic Games and enjoy these top athletes performing for the podium.
That won't happen. It's too long for the general population to watch. Hence why they have introduced the team relay short stuff.
The fantastic scenic backdrop made this so much more enjoyable to watch! 😊🎉👍🏻👏🏻
Really enjoyed the commentary from Craig Alexander. Always full of knowledge. Congratulations Ash! Thanks PTO.
Biggest respect to Anne Haug , afther such a problem with the bike , stay in line and fight back and bring still her best !!!
Annie Haug displayed the heart of a champion while dealing with that bike mechanical. It’s unfortunate that sports can be harsh in this way, but she still put on a magnificent effort.
Congratulations to Ashleigh on the win and Chelsea for her podium place.
These are best highlights that the PTO have made 👏🏻
Your media team is second to none, quick quality content
Awesome
Great race! Ashleigh is a beast! Would’ve loved to see the battle had Annie not had the mechanical - what composure. A true pro. And Chelsea on the run - loved seeing her back out there. Already looking forward to Worlds 😂😊
I thought being nearly bareback was illegal in ANY triathlon! I guess the authorities are seeing how stupid most triathlon rules are!
Wasn’t for woman. And she is wearing a sports bra, so not much less than a sleeveless tri suit. It’s illegal for men to go shirtless and that’s totally ok
Hopefully they have done away with that ridiculous rule. 😂
@@o11378 if you check the rules, going down to a sports bra is not accepted, they don't even want you to run barefooted
@@savagepro9060which rules though, each event has its own set.
Always nice to see an Aussie win. But would she’d been swallowed by a more fortunate Anne Haug on the run.. Anyone done the math?
Fantastic ladies, Ashleigh, Anne, Chelsea, give credit where credit is due, is this the British broadcast, is there a US one ? they are only talking about Charles-Barclay, every 30 seconds, Anne who finished 2nd did not get a 10th of the coverage compare to Barclay who ended up as usual almost 10 minutes behind the winner.
The Brits will Brit 😅 Count yourselves lucky though. The Norwegian Eurosport commenter is a total moron. Absolutely clueless about triathlon and couldn’t even pronounce Haug. Painful! PTO restricting the YT stream is just dumb.
They talk about Barclay because she was leading the race… there for the moto was following Barkley. Had it been someone else then they would have been commenting on that person instead.
Why do they constantly call her Annie Haug when her name is obviously Anne Haug?
We must be fair , nobody did say , that Lucy Charles , is in her first race after a boken foot !!! And you cant expect 100% drive and power form her in this case !!!
Good performance by Sodaro but she's still not winning herself any fans, look at all the high fives Gentle and Haug gave out while Chelsea just ignores them all
Can the girls run like that?
good question, I was wondering that too
The dirty streets of otherwise clean Singapur stole Anne's victory
That was her spare tube
@@shihuachin1990that’s what she said it was, but it clearly wasn’t a spare tube.
@@mistershickadance3379 it was settled. They have photos of that spare tube wrapped around her water bottle in T1 when she racked her bike.
Lucy Charles Barclay would’ve won but she’s just getting back into form. She got injured 2 years ago
she also got injured this year, she broke her foot and wasn't even expecting to be able to race in Singapore
she gets injured as if it's a requirement
Not a chance!
The dirty streets of otherwise clean Singapur stole Anne's victory. These are best highlights that the PTO have made .
Why do they wear socks during the run. In the 90's most triathletes run without socks.
Because it's now 2023
Socks are more aerodynamic
In the 90s we also used to cycle and run in our speedos although this did discourage drafting it was not the comfiest or most pleasant to look at.
wearing socks in a triathlon run is like a tourist wearing socks and sandals on vacation --->> goofy
The guy commenting Sara Perez race suit doesn’t know nothing about the athletes. Bad professional. Sara Perez has stomach problemas, that’s why she can’t use the normal trisuit.
She can’t wear a swim skin because of her stomach? What’s the issue?
@@JC-wc1te he was talking for the Bike Leg.
Ah ok. He mentioned a swim skin as well. Question still stands?
@@JC-wc1te she can’t use the normal trisuit because she often needs to evacuate during the run leg.
Shouldn't all athletes properly dressed during the race? At least get a time penalty for not doing that? Otherwise I would very much want to see Iden taking off his shirt tomorrow ;)
Lucy Charles Barclay is highly overrated
VITS - swimVITS - quicker Swim Bike Run - quicker win 😎
