In 1980 or 81 at 15 or 16 years old, I remember hearing the 2nd solo in the live version of Cocaine and thinking, “that’s not Eric Clapton.” Sure enough, it was Albert Lee. I’ve been a fan of his playing ever since. Fantastic guitarist.

Got to run a clinic with Albert back in the day. Absolute gentleman, even through all kinds of technical mishaps. Sold loads of these guitars in my time working in the music store.

The BEST! Albert is amazing. We got to hang out together in NY at his Iridium show. I have 2 Albert Lee guitars - one with 3 P0s and one with 2 humbuckers. Best guitars made hands down !!!
