I couldn't turn the large plastic screws, but I found that the red shipping brackets fit in the screw grooves well and I could use that as leverage to open the adjusters 😎
Thanks for the great video and inspiration. I say inspiration because it inspired me to buy the PR1050X, which was a closeout to make room for the 1055. I have made a couple designs (used the built-in). I have a sewing/embroidery machine, but I like being able to do both sewing and embroidery at the same time. I am looking forward to your new videos.
Thanks for the comment buddy! I got to use the PR1050X, and that machine is solid. Pretty cool that you still have a lot of options even without the full PE Design software. I got a whole bunch of new stuff coming out soon :) I appreciate the support!
@@TockCustom Don't judge me, but I use Embird software. It is less pricey than the PE Design. I did not realize PE Design came with the PR1055, but that would not really have changed my mind. Thanks for replying and welcome to the DFW area.

The part of the world I live in there is very less customer support provided. I would request please make some videos on oiling the machine and maintainance. Especially how to keep oil off of your projects. Waiting anxiously for more videos

Absolutely amazing looking machine, I’m wondering if there are any really easy automatic embroidery machines out there for complete newbies? I have no idea how any sewing machines work. Looks very complicated

When I was working with the server group at the university, we often received large boxes that had directions on unboxing. Pretty common for large equipment. Another great video, my friend.

I dont think I can give a proper response since I've only used Brother for multi-needle embroidery. I can definitely say that I love this machine for so many projects though! Thx for watching

I did do a setup video for this machine already, so you can find that for sure. Running cost is pretty cheap once you have the machine, you just need embroidery thread, stabilizer, and bobbin thread.
For doing a car mat, I would embroidery some kind of weatherproof felt, and then mount it to something with a rubber of foam base. I don't recommend embroidering through thick synthetic materials.
This machine is great and i want a multi-needle machine but i just can't spend that much. Do you recommend any other multi-needle machines in the
This is my first and only multi-needle machine, and although it is excellent, it is quite expensive. Its a great option to finance something like this. Paying a couple hundred dollars a month on a unit that can net you a few thousand a month is certainly a good investment!

I want an embroidery machine but I don't know which one to get.
Just depends on what kinds of projects you want to make, the size of the hoop you need, and your budget. You can spend anywhere from $300 to $25,000. I highly recommend the Brother PE-800 - Great price for the machine and size :)
10 needle vs 6 needle - what % of the time will you need a 10 vs 6 needle machine. Is the cost of a 10 needle vs 6 going to payoff in greater production or is a 6 needle going to be sufficient a majority of the time? In your best guess, how often wold a 6 needle machine been sufficient for the majority of your embroidery?

Yes! This machine has optional magnetic hoops, and they are amazing!

It had a very easy method of slowing the stitch rate to help specialty threads from snapping or melting - I'm excited to try my metallics and glow in the dark threads :D

This kind of machine you'd have to buy from an approved dealer that's local to your area. This machine was given to me to help educate people on behalf of Brother Sews, so I'm really excited to help people learn all kinds of new stuff moving forward :)

what software are you using for this machine? the 1600 dollar one? I stuck in buying a embroidery machine. do I need the expensive software or not. are there alternatives etc,
I do have the newest PE Design 11 - which is the expensive one. I do highly recommend it, especially since the software is made by brother and work so well with this particular machine (and all other Brother machines). Although you can export out to other machines as well.
There are alternatives, but in my opinion, the only ones worth using are also still quite expensive.

Yep, this machine can do pretty much every kind of hat and premade garment.

This machine starts around $20K depending on local Brother dealer, or around $400 p/mo over 4 years. You can basically start a business with this machine alone and pull in about $4,000 a month (at least) if you're working part time hours.

SistahSaber Sewing I looked it up 3 weeks ago; it's my dream machine. Get a good shop to arrange financing, it's about $300/mo. or $16,000 cash.
It depends on the dealer and retailer - Like @nora22000 said, financing is a great option where you can pay around $300 p/mo over 4 years.
As an example, I got a commission the first week I got this for $750 for 1 day of work... which would already pay for 2 months. If you did that every week... you'd pay this machine off very fast :)

Yes, absolutely! Check out some shops and they'll help you with financing options, as well as teaching you how to use the machine :)
With a small down payment, I think it's like $400 p/mo for 4 years. If you're active with your machine, you can easily make well over $2000 p/mo with a machine like this (actually a lot more if you're staying busy).
