Quantum Stealth "invisibility cloak" can conceal people and entire buildings

- Canadian camouflage company Hyperstealth Biotechnology has patented the technology behind a material that bends light to make people and objects near invisible to the naked eye.
The material, called Quantum Stealth, is currently still in the prototyping stage, but was developed by the company's CEO Guy Cramer primarily for military purposes, to conceal agents and equipment such as tanks and jets in the field.
As well as making objects close to invisible to the naked eye, the material also conceals them from infrared and ultraviolet imagers.
Unlike traditional camouflage materials, which are limited to specific conditions such as forests or deserts, according to Cramer this "invisibility cloak" works in any environment or season, at any time of day.

"In 2010 I figured out invisibility."
Translation:
"In 2010 I saw a video of a Lubor's Lens so I tried to patent it and made company around that stolen idea to sell to the US military for stupid amounts of money."
Also, comments appear to be removed on the company's version of this video. How strange....
In the current state, it is useless for the military anyway, unless Cramer manages to implement it in a more pliable way like cloth cover for vehicles while still working as a flat bendable lens. In flat bendable form as it is showed it will end at best as a riot shield for some fancy media showy SWAT team public event to lure recruits into a police departments or perhaps as a transparent gun shield on vehicles to reduce the visibility of mounted gun operator, and for that, the military can order large Lubor's lens from China and put it behind some bulletproof transparent material...
Either way, not a game-changer in the current form...
Agreed. This has been around for a long time.
@@IonorReasSpamGenerator this guy has been spouting the same nonsense for years.
You should show us the elder wand and the resurrection stone stone as well sir ...
hey. maybe now i can hide from my problems succesfully
And the problems would be like. "Ah! Here you are! My best buddy, hihi". And even quatum technology can't hide us from our own, cold, stone hearts...

This might be the best comment ever!
just make me a suit out of it already
They made an invisible Abrams tank with it...
@@geoplane3799 ok but that's not a suit
It's not really bending light tho. It's actually taking the light and splitting it up into thousands of narrow shafts, which repeat to make it appear like one, long, singular texture, when it's really the same texture, really tiny repeated hundreds of times.
Your description is so much less catchy… light bending works for me
Hello Mr anonymous I think u really had a great knowledge in ths invisible technology by the way can u help me wid tht for my nxt presentation hoping to hear frm u.. ..
AKTUALLY
Which means you cannot use it as a cloak. More like a large perimeter that you setup around something you want to hide from far away.
Si se pierde en el entorno como le hago para poder encontrarlo o detectar ???? Se debe aplicar algo para que contraste con el entorno ???
The material that should be visible to the eye and visible in the mirror
kinda looks like a large prism sheet form a lcd

where can u buy the material
You can't..And even if you could, you couldn't afford it.
@@hoseamatthews3860 how do yk?
I Wish the camera moved a little, i couldnt help but think it was a simple print of the background
No, it's a semitransparent green screen made with plastic
@@DragoSpiro98 Nope. It's light bending material.
It’s light bending material the reason they didn’t move it is because you have to be a certain distance away for it to work. Apparently they are working to fix this problem.
Guy should appear at the sides it seems. Great work Guy thank you.💚
What a marvelous invention!
Can i buy one?
Dezeen , how much does it cost for the size you have in your hand? $$$, please get back to me on this.

100% there is an article in "TIME for Kids" magazine from the early to mid 2000s that talks about this being inspired by Harry Potter I am not joking we read it in school as little kids

put this on the roof of a building and suddenly be invisible to spy satellites
It is very useful in war, u can hide bases and vehicles from drone/plane views.

The development has already started, they already have a small number of invisible Abrams tanks and invisible boats

If i put this stuff around the outside of my house i would be parking my car in the living room.
Aha .. The light is refracted so that it does not hit the object behind the film ...
Do you see the perfect continuation of the trim of the wall cladding! Why is it to be seen?
Yo! Can we put this in spaceships and fighter jets too?

If I'm behind a curtain, I'm even more invisible actually.
"But the curtain is not invisible!"
Neither this thing. So what's the point?
This only really works if the person who's looking for you is far away, at least 30 feet.
if there are aliens from another solar system wonder how advanced their version is
I mean for military purposes, 30 feet, pretty good distance
Harry Potter called, he wants his cloak back

O come on they have they Harry Potter one out

But I came up with the idea back in 2007, but I couldn't figure it out.
They got this technology from Alien.
ok, now show it with a nontrivial background

Good luck!!! My advice, as if anyone cares after all the lies everyone is believing. Face your problems head on; then you can deal with them; hopefully learn and grow. My dumbass just gives a damn about someone else's feelings, and got played. Biggest charade of the century. I'm nit Satan. I have lead people to the lord and practice morals and ethics in just about everything I do! Except when my heart gets hurt and am constantly being fed lies instead of truth. No one deserves that !!!
Titanfall in real life...
Aldo Farias' assumption about printing looks correct. Otherwise, show me the optical way to build the image of the wall, it never disappear not even change brightness. Optical system of film reproduces the wall but not the man thar is very close to it.
*Harry Potter* is typing…
Not completely invisible, can see a moving shadow, and have to carry around that material which is not invisible.
That would fool me
Ridiculous. The application succesfully demonstrated by professor Pendry and his colleagues. I think you should not claim it

Його всеодно видно. Хоча й погано.
I mean you will finally figure it out when you put a flexing material "flexes via temperature" upon certain points and edges of the lens and a control computer with a few range finders that can also figure out "what" you want to disappear behind the lense it's self and flex accordingly.
That will be when you start getting 1 step closer to "suit" tech... now if you want the suit, PAY ME MONEY DAM IT and I will work for you as the devil on your shoulder helping to destroy the world for money.
Alert! A red spy is in the base!!
ME: Go to Toilet Female :)))
I don't see any benefits from this, apart from misuse, war and to hurt others.
But I could also defend and hide in situations like when someone comes in my house . If not panicking ...
Nothing good is going to come from this.
I can tell it’s fake…
lOOK HOW DANGEROUS THIS CHOULD BE FOR HUMANITY!!!
That shit was WEAK. I cant imagine how hard our military R&D guys laugh when they see this shit lol
