FULL TOUR of NEW Summer Tribute Store & Crazy Week of HHN Announcements / Universal Studios Florida

The brand new Summer Tribute Store has opened at Universal Studios Florida, and I am bringing you on a full tour of this highly themed and fun shopping experience, plus we'll talk about all the Halloween horror Nights 2024 house announcements made this week - 5 all-new original houses have been announced already for HHN 33!! The Summer Tribute Store is themed as the Tribute Store Plaza, a 1980s shopping mall with Mega Video, Mega Castle Arcade & Tribute Theater all housed within. Between the retro video store, arcade and theater, we'll see some of our classic favorite summer blockbusters like Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, Jaws and Shrek represented, with immersive themed areas and new merchandise! Plus, I'll share the details about aaaaallll of the Halloween Horror Nights announcements that have come out this week - FIVE all original haunted house concepts coming for HHN33 at Universal Orlando! A bit of summer, a bit of Halloween Horror Nights 2024 prep and excitement, and a whole lot of fun at Universal Orlando! The Summer Tribute Store will tie in to the new nighttime lagoon show and parade coming later this summer too!

I am sure someone else has mentioned it, but us 80s babies definitely recognize the graphics of the Gerg thr Llama video game. That was some real ET on the 2600 vibes.

It's so awesome to see that Universal is splitting the HHN Houses with 50% I.P. and 50% original content. We think Disney should take a clue from that instead of their recent trend 100% I.P. We loved the Back to the Future clock tower facade complete with lightning!

The QR Code is real for Universal's Great Movie Escape, the Classic Monster movie posters have been touched up, I saw some gumball machines, and a hidden Proton Pack, Jakie's watch band is glowing, Mega Castle Acarde is an Easter Egg to the store 192 that has a giant Wizard as the store's mascot, one of the video game characters looks like Chuck Norris, the dueling dragons is a ref to last years HHN house and the name Lazer Duegon is a ref to a Far Cry game DLC of a different name, Gerg's Alien Adventure is a ref to the Artai 2600 ET Game that nearly caused the Video Game Crash in the 80s, those Ghostbusters figures were fast shipped to Universal and you can find up for pre-order at your local video game stores or online and yes those are the new statue figures but theses ones for the Tribute Store are a One of a Kind statues for the Tribute store, and the Ghostbusters Ad in the glass case that has everything with ref's to past Tribute Stores

I'm kinda surprised they did the beaded curtain/red light thing....They may have turned it into a little "staff room", but I'm pretty sure that's referencing those sections in indie video rental stores you had to be 18+ to go in.

Hands down my favorite section of the tribute store is Ghostbusters! I grew up watching Ghostbusters and I love the new films Afterlife and Frozen Empire!
