Thank you so much for throwing BK in the title and thumbnail. I watch pretty much every vintage cube draft and typically go back to most a second time. It's nice to be able to choose ones with BK specifically.
If possible, a BK playlist would be awesome to be able to find ones that have already been uploaded. Thanks again!

I will forever believe in Displacer Kitten. Takes so little to spiral a game that was at parity into a blowout. For example, in this deck it works well with Urza, Karn, Extruder, and more.
There are def situations where Kitten is the nuts.. but having played it a bunch it often is only good when you are already winning the game. And very often a dead card in your hand. It will never stop me from picking the kitten ofc just a fun card :p

Seconded, but Academy is one of my all-time favorite cards, always has been, so I personally (selfishly) don't mind in this case haha.

Maybe the dredge deck , might be good in the teams but the draw back is asking someone to put those cards in a cube lol
Imagine getting Emrakul into play twice in a match and losing... I usually don't feel bad for our opponents, but that was rough...
Emrakul without casting isn't really a game winner when you throw all your resources into it.
@@DreamGamingS2 Discarding with Survival (replaces itself) and using a 2 mana spell to get it back is all of your resources?
I really, REALLY appreciate your content LSV. The way you explain things is so educational in the way you describe your thought process. Case in point: how the opponent’s play of the surveil land could mean they don’t have a Survival play but might also be them just wanting to play their land helps me develop good instinct about what the opponent is doing. Much gratitude!
I listen to all of LSV’s videos on 2x speed. Whenever I go back to normal speed it sounds like he’s speaking in slow motion to me
Same^^ Also, Because I am so used to it, I have sometimes forgotten that it's on 2x speed and caught myself wondering how he drafts so friggin fast xD
To be fair, even on 1x it's usually faster than the average id imagine @@Junglej0hn
I watch 1.5 but I’m glad I’m not the only one. My friends all think I’m crazy but mtgo gameplay in general is so slow so I speed up the video and now I’m just used to it🤣
I did this for other mtgo players but Luis fills every moment with thoughtful commentary so I don’t feel the need to
Lol for all the trash talk thrown at BK it's funny he doesn't realize when Luis is giving him a compliment calling him the "anchor".
He's not used to compliments from lsv at all. xD

@@yamchadragonball6983 nah, some people just have great relationships and that's part of their dynamic. It's not like LSV verbally abuses him or anyone. Just friendly banter.
it was not intended as a compliment because LSV rarely breaks character except when thanking him for covering the last draft, in this instance anchor meant "something that slows you down". At best it was a clever subtle dig. very funny though.
@@redhairpurpleheadband5775 Lol guess you can take it how you want it but immediately describing him as "the anchor of the team" is a known compliment amongst team sports doesn't really give way to your interpretation. There wasn't any pauses or sarcasm in his voice except when BK responded with uncertainty about what LSV meant after the compliment was given.

I've actually made Mana with Tamiyo's -3, it was in Modern and I played Grixis Phoenix, and I brought back Manamorphose

LSV actually could have won if he played into it more like that (or didn't throw both games by letting the opponent hit him with palantir damage... just give them the card!)

The issue with academy decks is that if you don’t have a academy there decks isn’t very goood
Phlage just as messed up in cube as it is in modern it seems lol
Usually / Used to love the Academy decks. But since LSV get obsessive with certain cards for a period of time, it eventually gets a little bit repetitive to see the same kind of deck play out. I had to fast forward this one to get through it.
LSV you are so creative and good at deck building it would be nice to see more variation, maybe a stip. What about that Dredge deck? Since it's always open it would be fun to see what you could build.
Appreciate the content though, just hoping for some variation. Love it when BK is a guest.

As good as they are, busted academy videos migh be the less entertainment value out of your range... I've grown to be a little disappointed when you pick it because the future is less exciting!
