In the 90s we didn't have to worry about shooters. I'm black and my whole neighborhood was black. Just having fun during the summer and holidays. Kids can't even hang out with friends before school back in session. R.I.P. My 11 year old son can stay out side along with his big brother that is 23 years old. We live in a between ok neighborhood. It's the summer time.kids shouldn't have be stuck in the home and not playing. It's young stupid shooters doing the crime. Why are kids now the new targets. Maybe. I used to run the streets all hours of the night at 12/13 as well. I'm 43 now, and I always say, "Thank God I still have my life."
It's was his birthday party still having fun. Nobody not asking questions why are kids of any age are the new targets. I'm 38 years old, I was allow to be out side past Midnight if I didn't leave my front porch. My mom would check on us, while he was being silly with our friends. I'm black and my neighborhood was 100% black. It may not a ok neighborhood. We were left alone and can act like kids. I'm mom of a 23 year old son and a 11 year old. He loves to hang out with his big brother. He just not allow to leave the front porch. school out for the summer
It is summertime!!! Kids get to stay up late! They were just hanging out on the steps of their house talking and having a good time celebrating a birthday. This never should have happened. I wish that they were in the house watching television or playing video games.
