- On the day before lockdown in Uganda started, we decided to go on a road trip deep into the countryside. Sadly, our motorbike broke down along the way. With nothing to do, we decided to take a walk. And what happens when you take a walk deep in rural Uganda? You find children who have never seen muzungus before..

Child: starts crying
Tommy: oh no not again
Ah sh*t here we go again
Or tommy:hello
Child: oh no that white gosht again 🤣
@@D.A1 it’s going to eat me 🤣🤣🤣
@@rickjason215 a ghost lol there's other videos where kids thought he was a ghost and thought he was gonna eat them and the other folks were trying to get him comfortable. Kids don't have super powers man. Some are just more scared then others and in his case. He probably never seen a white man
@@rickjason215 Some people are just not used to seeing white people and see them as weird and scary.
Tommy -*exists*
Kids- OH HELL NO😭
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Lol they will get used to him it just takes time u would be scared to if u lived In Africa u never seen a white person before.yep lol
LMAO.....the kids should get used to it maybe?????
Josey came prepared with lollipops for the kids coz we know what happens when the kids see Tommy 😅😰
hahaha alien
Yep
@@mwebazerichard4510 that is the problem ghost is for white people but i dont know what other races are called
Lmaoo
it's just like Halloween!
where the kids dress up like vampires, werewolves, and zombies, then come to your house to ask for candy.
but in Uganda the ghosts find the kids while they are out minding their own business, scare the hell out of them, then give them candy
That kid was like: “Was this the ghost I heard rumors about! Nahhhh I’m out”
😂
🤣🤣
I bet their parents are scaring the kids telling them a white man will come and eat you if they don’t behave.
@@luischav3z thats funny cus white colonizers did actually eat slaves
"tommy you are scaring the kids" LOL she is so funny!
You need to print some t-shirts that say “I’m not a ghost” in Swahili 😆
this is genius actually
@@maxnoyes1920 maybe print on the back "Trust me, bro"?
If that was reversed it would be pretty different
@@gc0009 actually not cuz they most likely won't be able to read it
@@ocir9893 cuz they are poor kids in Africa .They probably didn't learn anything school related yet .I'm pretty sure they can't read
It was fun watching this haha. Am a black Ugandan girl living and working in Vietnam and it’s the same expression from some of my Vietnamese kids especially the kindergartens when they see me the first day😂😂😂😂😂. Great content 😁
Oh i hope you have a great time in my country. No matter what color we are, we're all human and friend
at least some people can laugh at that because woke activists call it racism
@Nalah’s Queendom You’re gorgeous . ❤❤❤
nobody would call an isolated child racist for being afraid of the unfamiliar. I swear you dorks cry about wokeness more than a scared child @rolfhutter8410
How ironic, when you walk in a corn field in a horror game, the kids scare you, but in reality you’re the one who scares the kids in the corn field oops
True
one girl ran to meet you and did courtesy which shows the highest respect & some sit down on ground to greet you. i remember that growing up in Uganda and the greeting goes on an on and on.
i noticed that too. very polite young lady.
"Oh no not again..." (2 seconds later) "Corn?"
It's a good thing he didn't say the wrong word for "corn" again.
I don't know why I am following this guy on his seeming mission to travel Uganda scaring kids
💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
Same 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
6:58 The kid behind: "Wtf igo, ghosts walking in the street with cameras"
🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
So much fun and freedom just walking around taking the time to meet people very relaxing to watch.
Josey you're an angel. Love your smiles and laughter. Beautiful soul and down to earth.
I love josey she is an amazing woman and like you said, an angel. watching her in the videos as she travels with Tommy is amazing the are a good team. How wonderful it would be to have meet her..she's beautiful 😍
I am Ugandan living in London and I think you are fantastic. You really try with the languages 👍🏽👍🏽
When we used to see a white person while young we were always eager to feel and touch their skin, we could gather around them lol, but seems it ain't the same with today kids.
We?, speak for yourself 😂😂
i never even thought like that🙄touching them😳😳😳even i did not see the different between me n them. Now i can see since they are the one distance themselves🙄🙄
@@atutweve4160 great, everyone had a different reaction towards them and that was mine and my friends by then

but i love your humbleness.dont forget to come back to uganda when bobi wine is our president.i know you will enjoy our new uganda
That will never happen maybe in the future like in 2040 or something but for now ,Bobi wine is still an amateur in terms of leadership
@@sandranamuyomba2268 thanks for telling her the real truth lol😀
When you said kasolo, instead of kasoli; you were referring to the appendage that makes a person male
OH NOOOOOOO
The guy with the hoodie dancing after he gets a coin really made me laugh. Somehow I knew he was going to ask for money after complaining about being jobless 😅
This babe should probably be vetted for the tourism ambassador Fort portal City, I like the way she blends with the locals.
I laughed so hard at the other video “it’s going to eat me” 🤣. This, the other kid, the guy at the market “everyone knows me”, the sanitizer guy and a few more. @Sabbatical, you should really make a “funny moments” video
My G I'm all the way in Jamaica binge watching your videos and many other world travelers, vicariously enjoying these contents. However it's the first I've seen a real stand-up lady there with you who seems cool. I know you are taking care of her or she is really professional about her job because the vibes feels authentic. Maybe you two can have a sit down and chat little. I hope that you will see her more interesting than just company. She genuinely feels you.
I also am watching from Jamaica and enjoying every minute !
@@snappa222 It's very interesting how the social n economical activities, no matter how remote are quite so similar. "Like mi ago dung di country fi guh luk fi do family.... Guh dung a town.... Or simply the flora and fauna..." Sad how many of our youths aren't aspire to visit the Motherland.
@@JahbuNtu yes I saw a lot of similarities I'm behaviour with us Jamaicans while watching these videos
What a great talent you have for languages, Tommy!!! And also for communication! I love your videos!
I remember in Rwenzori I was definitely the first white guy a kid had seen , he froze, starred at me , then ran screaming for his life . Although there is so many languages in Uganda very rarely did I find people didn’t speak Luganda the National language, and the older people also all spoke Swahili as well. I remember going to a town OMG I got a mental blank but just up the road was bidi bidi , on the corner of Uganda , the Congo and southern Sudan , the biggest refugee camp in the world, been there so long I bet it becomes a town
Wow!Interesting content about my country
Thank you Sabatical for taking us around
These videos are awesome! Thank You!
You get to learn a lot .. good learning experience 👍👍

Great Content Sabbatical ! You are beating Mr.Bald and Drew!
Who is Drew?
Absolutely love your videos and the fact you take the time to learn local dialects. I had a very different vision of what Africa would be like from the prairies of Canada and you've opened my eyes greatly. Keep em coming.
Such a beautiful place! Your Luganda is good
Seeing you going to the backyard while the kid is screaming - the scene's amazing! In the middle of nowhere. Very rare 🙋🏾
Rural Uganda is really showing the underbelly of the nation’s struggling poor ~ Thanks, Tommy for the education.
The beauty in how calm the environment is …I’d really love staying in that peace
This place is beautiful
Such beautiful people there! You're a lucky man to experience this
Great idear Josey. Lollipops are 👍

I liked the way at the beginning all three on the motorcycle wore masks, but not helmets LOL !
Crazy and true
Well that's normal in uganda
@@ugandabiker1932 I hear you, a helmet 🪖 can prevent instant death / brain injury. What does a mask 😷 do outside , on a boda?
every video of yours is very nice your like most tanzanian video
Ma'an u are incredible, I know u gna b here longer due to covid lockdown but I think u r having a good time. N pliz stay away from Kampala because people are either sick or stressed here, unless u offer charity. Fun is where u r at.
This is pretty great to watch cause this is my country
Right on Josey
Walking makes you interact with the locals more, and you also get health benefits.

What does it mean?
Just hitted on your channel loving your vlogg ,,,when you in Kenya check on me wish to take you around the street my village

I love that you try to speak the nation native languages. I've seen your Mbege video of Tanzania. We have so many languages that here you are speaking the wrong language, though a nationally understood one at that

Actually Tommy is in undercover mission scaring kid's 😁
Tommy - May I ask, how do you learn the various languages that you have learnt sofar ? Any tips ?
Which part of Uganda is this
Awww, poor wee little one 😢
tommy the villagers are so stressed enough to get happy, try count those who are on the verge of breakdown u will see its more
Lols he really said "are you proud of your son?"
Where have you been my whole time on CZcams?
I should've been following you years ago.
This is what I hate about lockdowns that no one was talking about when covid first started. I always knew that the lockdown would hurt the poorest people first. You have people here in America invading peoples homes, robbing people at gun point. And then you get this guy he gave money to...probably the most polite, well spoken person I’ve ever seen ask for a handout even in America. I pray that things are okay for them and that they find a way to support themselves as they wish.
To much Weight? I been watching your Uganda trip and remembered IDI Amin.
Great editing. They just caught over 70 Congolese trying to cross the border. That long journey they get housed for a few months & sent back. Kony is there somewhere Bro! Lol
Hi all ! How can I reach that girl ? Cause I need her help when I arrive in Uganda for business
Next time you should bring some candies over for them to try
Go to jinja east ug Tommy west ug has nothing to offer and its so rural ..also visit lake victoria lslands like kalangala , sese and samuka
shame on you. .bad blood
The rural people are the real people.
I like the lady that was with him the whole time hopefully she's in more videos
Her name is josey. She has her own CZcams channel named MISS JOSEY.
That crying in the background sounds like Ed-209 from Robocop when he falls down the stairs
Tommy: The ghost of Uganda
