Rescue 50 Ride Along to Working Fire

- Rescue 50 responding to assist station 53 on a working apartment fire. A fire started in a detached garage, but wind caused the fire to spread rapidly to the nearby house. Willow Street Fire Company. My apologies about the constant camera angle change, there were 4 of us sitting side by side with a lot going on. The reason my Asst. Chief forgot his helmet is because we were just out on different firetrucks and had to quickly change when the call went out.
Rescue 50 is a 2002 Pierce Lance.
my favorite call out...we had just left the station and I look down into this tiny Smart car.... and both people in it are flipping us off... was just hilarious when they finally got home... guess where we were lol

Make sure you clip your chief's helmet to his jacket so he doesn't forget it next time. That's what we always do. Not that I've ever forgotten my helmet or jacket or pants.

I road along with the Denver fire department rescue truck and I understand how switching trucks a helmet can get left behind its not the first thing you grab

hjfdlt You do realize a cellphone can fit in your pocket, but a helmet can't? Did you even read the description? Because I explained the entire situation. You'd be surprised how easy it can be to forget a helmet, as it's not always the first thing you think about grabbing.

A few things : sorry ladies, but you're NOT my favs when it comes to the fire dept. The position of dispatchers, Paramedic, and other positions are just perfect when it comes down to it . !! I don't know if the girl in ther back said her name, but this one was annoying as fawk !! Acting like you've been on the job for years, saw everything there was to see, just lowers your standards more and more !! Giving away a red ass' equipment, then laughing about, also isn't very nice !! Do us all a favor, and hit the road !! I forgot my helmet one shift, at home !! 24 hrs later, I arrived back home. My friend was on a call with us 1 day, on a speedway !! He forgot his bucket too. Why is it always the helmet ? For the entire shift, he had someone else's. It, again, worked out !!
Please get rid of that awful "power call"
