I was a huge fan of Mr. Kennedy because he was great on the mic, good in the ring and had the charisma to captivate the audience. And at the time, he was a much needed breath of fresh air. I always hoped with his push he'd get to be a world champion. Such a shame Cena and Orton felt threatened by Kennedy and they used politics to get him fired after the back drop on Orton in that 8 man tag match. His run in TNA proved he was a main event star that could carry a company. One of the biggest missed opportunities in WWE history.
"Mr. Kennedy!..................Kennedy!"
He was a Hell of an entertainer.
Apparently he is a commentator now for a boxing promotion.
Would like to see him back in the ring at least once.
Mr. Kennedy walked so LA Knight could run
Yep 100%

Cena and Orton were #1&2 and they saw that Kennedy was a threat! They didn’t view Edge as a legit threat, but saw that Vince liked Kennedy. They both used their stroke to cut Ken’s legs out from under him and that was that. WWE is a shark tank and the sharks were swimming around Kennedy
LOL, Lmao even.
Kennedy was crap...
It was a horrible move on the WWE's part. Orton and Cena felt threatened and cried to McMahon.
I don't think that Orton or Cena would do the same today.
Damn I didn't know you were there and saw everything that went down tell me how come crash holly didn't win the wwe championship I bet the rock saw him as a real threat and kept him down😂
Only no..... He was a self admitted "egotiscal asshole who thought he was bigger and more important than he was" when he was in the WWF, he's said that over and over and over in interviews over the last several years, Personally I'd like to see him have another run in the WWE, I think they should have a traditional Survivor series match where Orton is the Captain and he brings in "Friends and Foes from the past" and the 4 other guys being Kofi, who is his real life brother-in-law, Cena, Zach Ryder and Kennedy.
Remember when Kennedy, MVP, Carlito, Masters, Shelton, Nitro etc were going to be the next generation of main guys? Damn man.
Dont forget Ziggler, Damien Sandow, Wade Barrett, Zack Ryder.....
@@vileluca Ryder? Yeah right...
I still can't believe they didn't push Shelton more. To me the guy was a generational talent like Lesnar. Probably because he wasn't big enough. We all know Vince likes Large sweaty men and dildos named after them now😂
If you apply the Jericho principle of wrestling is about characters, catchphrases and promos, Kennedy was one of the best. I enjoyed him a lot when he was in WWE. Only person that has grabbed my attention like him since has been Enzo.
I had a friend get arrested at a Raw in 2007 because he tried to jump the barricade on Edge with his “You screwed Kennedy” sign lol
He was so over with the people. Reminds me of Al Snow in that regard.
Mr. Kennedy was the man. I liked his mic entrance.
Hogan tried to do to Undertaker what Orton did to Kennedy.
Sure did.
Kennedy could have been a massive star. Severely underrated.
I have a "prowrestling is real; people are fake" shirt from back when Kamikaze Ken (top face) wrestled for ACW out of northeast Wisconsin. It was Mike Mercury (top? heel) merchandise, as I recall. Still ... Kamikaze Ken/ Mr Kennedy/ Mr Anderson is a local boy dun' good and forever has a spot in the NE Wisconsin Hall of Fame and one of my top ten, despite having never seen any of his matches once he made it big. I mean, he's no Horace the Psychopath, but ...
Kennedy in WWE could have been the next Rock or Austin.
Don't know about that, definitely could have been l a knight.
Kennedy was garbage
Wouldn't be the first time Cena and Orton adversely affected careers. And I like the two.
Mr. Kennedy could've been where LA Knight is right now, a top contender for the world title for months.
Years. He should have been the top guy for years. Instead we got Boreton and Jorts Boy.
Kennnnnnedyyyyyyy! 🎤
WWE backstage politics is Game of Thrones 😂
Always liked Ken. He should get another shot in the big time (TNA or WWE).
too old now
TNA is hardly "the big time."
Dude he is 48 years old.

And????
Too bad there's not a Dick Slater around to handle Randy Orton like Slater did his daddy Bob Jr in front of Bob Sr... Slater asked Bob Sr, "you want some of this too, old man?" Bob Sr, "Nope"😂😂😂
Yeah, he was pretty awesome. One of the few in the modern era who stood out to me. Its ashame he wasnt pushed harder.
From what I remember, Kennedy kept getting injured when he was getting pushed. Man I thought that guy was great
This too
I was convinced that Mr Kennedy was gonna be a world champion and be a major player for many years.
it was in a match against orton. Kennedy hit Orton with a normal suplex but Orton landed on his head/neck and after the match when they were back in Gorilla, Randy was incensed and both Randy and John Cena went to Vince and told him that Kennedy was reckless in the ring and Kennedy got fired soon after
They weren't wrong though - Mark Calaway even had issues with him
Loved Kennedy as he had massive charisma and cut great promos, Cena and Orton were always dull as fuck but hey, they were Vince’s top guys I guess
I miss Mr. Kennedy... Kennedy !! I'll never forget his match with Eddie Guerrero, Eddie's last televised match all that cheat😂ing Eddie pulled off in that match on smackdown! !!!
Before la knight there was “Kennedy”!!!!!
Dutch's Vince impression had me laughing 😂😂😂
Kennedy got robbed by Jonathan Cena and Robot Orton. Dude was going places and they didn't like it
Kennedy should get another run in WWE
hes too old now
Mr Kennedy/Anderson was great as a heel in TNA and WWE
Dutch Mantell is Mick Foley's dad!!! I mean damn.....they are looking more and more alike as they each get older!!!!
I've been saying that for a while 😂😂
at least dutch isnt a white knight libtard like that toothless dirty cheap clown foley
I was a big fan of Misterrrrrrrrrrrrr Kennedy………Kennedy. I was at the LOCKDOWN PPV in St Louis (St Charles actually) when Kennedy vs Angle happened and PWI gave it match of the year. It was incredible!!
I liked Kennedy but the problem in the WWE was that he was a Glass Champion. Every time he was ready to move up he'd get injured, and every time he got injured the writers and management had to change storylines and schedules. After awhile it just became too much hassle.
It's odd that they didn't mention that. Kennedy even had to give up his money in the bank contract when he tore his triceps, it was so deflating to see Edge beat him in about 8 seconds.
Kennedy should have been the top guy. Instead we got 20 years of Cena and Blandy Snoreton because they thought cool moves mattered more than personality. If Kennedy can't do a move, then don't do it. Do something else. You don't sacrifice a money maker like Kennedy just because a snooze fest like Orton complains.
I remember Vince gave him the many opportunities: WM23 MitB, having a feud with taker and most notably, being his son and the limo explosion. He definitely had been power tripped by Orton.
yeah, he ended up dropping the briefcase to Edge and the illegitimate son angle was changed to Hornswoggle. I remember when all this happened and I remember feeling awful for Kennedy/Anderson.
@@gothard5he left in 2009 which was many years after the illegitimate son thing
I think Orton and Cena saw to it that nobody else got over in that era.
Kennedy needs to return to wwe
I loved Kennedy in tna
La Knight is what Mr Kennedy was suppose to be.
John Cena tore his peck during a hip toss to Mr. Kennedy. He also would get injured every time they tried to push him.
Agreeing w Dutch & the British guy, I still think Mr. K got a Raw deal n his termination.
Lol Curtis hit the Randy Orton pose.
Dutch never worked with Ken outside of his TNA Xplosion match in 2003. Dutch left TNA in 2009, Ken debuted in 2010. Ken left TNA in 2016, Dutch returned in 2017.
Frommm Greennn Bayyy Wisconsin nah Mrrrrrreee kennedayyyyy 🎙 🎤
WWE really messed up with Kennedy when He came back from injury that Year You could hear people yell Kennedy at the Worl Series and the NBA All-Star Game, how Main stream is that?.
Bruce Prichard said tell a friend telephone.
Kaiser might need to get into ring announcing. Thought his Gunther open was pretty good
Mr. Anderson had his best run in TNA even becoming World Champion. One of the most unique gimmicks. But didn't exit well.
Kennedy screwed himself - Injured Cena, Randy Orton almost got injured by him, The Locker Room had issues with him and even disrespected Taker
Always enjoyed Kennedy, thought he should have gotten the whole damn push in WWE
Kennedy hit a back body drop on Orton, Orton cried, asked Cena to back him up and they both went to Vince to complain about Kennedy and he was fired soon there after.
Mr Kennedy's gimmick was saying his own name.
thats all you need when you have mic skills to back it up
@@alanmacdonald1457 it takes real mic skills to say your own name.
Twice, he said his name twice!
@@GLJosh one time he said it three times and his career disappeared.
Damn, All my fav wrestlers got screwed over. Wade Barett and Mr Kennedy.
During that. Kennedy was one of the most entertaining. I think it was a loss for the fans.
I loved Mr Kennedy!
GREAT WRESTLER, great talker, great person but he had the Lacy Evans disease of pissing off the wrong people...
Realistically, if McMahon wouldn't have caved in and released Kennedy, what would Orton and Cena have done.
of course vinces ass-kissers lied. ~ but also i read from him or some source that said he was "unprofessional looking and wanted him to stop chewing gum".
Ken had stiffed and got heat with Cena and then after that dropped Orton too high on his shoulders for a back suplex and that was it.
He injured Orton from a suplex and got fired for that.
Mr Kennedy just didn't click with me
I really think Randy and Cena were afraid he was going to take their spot. The guy was RED HOT! And he could run his mouth on the Mic and convincing in the ring. He was a super miss.
Kennedy did a, bad looking, back suplex and almost dropped Orton on his shoulder in a 10 man tag (2009).
After the match Orton convinced Cena to come with him to speak to Vince which led to Kennedy being fired. He had a rep backstage for being dangerous and inconsistent in ring.
No offense, but it seems like EVERYONE held the TNA World Title, especially in the 2010s. It got to be like the Southern Heavyweight title, in Memphis.
There’s more to the story of why he got released and was NEVER invited back. EVER!
Just think about that for a while.
Sounds like he stole that saying on his T-shirt, Kat Williams will be on all these podcast saying wrestlers stole his jokes !
Mr. Kennedy should have been WWE Champion. Should have came back for another run
That was pretty lame-- just a word from 2 guys convinced to fire Mr.Kennedy? What if they were jealous? I wonder what The Undertaker thought?
Lol, Dutch unknowingly making a point about the Katt Williams stict is hilarious...
First time the words hilarious and katt williams have been used in the same sentance
How they treated Ole and Arn's nephew is unbelievable. Look at how they are treating the young Steiner boy today as well. WWE keeps repeating history with most of these legacies. Only the Orton and Dibiase boys got all that nepotism.
Orton Cena's hhh buried him
The story I remember hearing was that he was rough on Randy Orton that match and that was the catalyst for his dismissal.
Truth is, it was MOST likely the fact that Kennedy at the time, was so green it was scary.
For perspective, he started wrestling at age 23, had 21 TOTAL matches in 6 years and BAM he was in WWE.
6 years, 21 matches and he was in WWE.
His attitude at the time was pretty arrogant because he fast tracked to WWE and his head was full of ego.
YOUR head would be full of ego too!
Only a few people know the truth really but I heard that actual match ended up being the straw that broke the camel's back because Randy was the future at the time and Kennedy was simply being slack with many performers and Randy's voice was the ONLY one that had BASE to it.
Truth of it all is, Kennedy really ate the crow on his actions after leaving and I feel his downward spiral ended up teaching him a lesson.
he did pretty darn good in TNA. Sure its never the kind of money WWE offers, BUT WWE offers 0 freedom so, i guess its a matter on whether its all about the money or the control.
MOST , if not all performers release their control to sign with WWE.
Like Kurt Angle, i think kennedy did better outside WWE and making money is not always the prime factor, but it always is a motivator
Then I guess that made Kennedy a minnow 🐟🦈🦈
Maddox was in the back with Xavier Woods tag teamin Paige on CZcams. Big E was joking about it on Raw for a few weeks
Kennedy massively didn't get screwed over in the WWE. If anything he was massively overpushed. Below average in the ring, below average look and usually quite boring. The saying his twice thing was fun but that was all he had, the rest of his mic work was tedious rambling nonsense. Especially the way he delivered it with a weirdly permanently bobbing head. His fans were very bizarre as well, you'd constantly hear from them about how ll the WWE should revolve around him but he never did anything that remotely deserved that level of booking.
Never took Orton for an office runner. Gives me a whole new perspective. What a crybaby!!
I never liked him he sucks
Thank god vince is gone. Not wanting wrestlers to use the term wrestling and wrestler, really? It will take 20 years maybe never to fix what Vince did to wrestling.
I liked Brad Maddox but never cared for Mr. Anderson. He looked too generic.
Possibly biggest waste of potential in wrestling
Not wasted. Underutilized.
I imagined that mic falling in the main event of Wrestlemania. Slowly, descending with its own spotlight. 🔥
One wrong suplex to Orton (main event of raw) and it's TNA
LA Knight is a Mr. Kennedy wannabe and copycat 😊
Why did that guy tell Dutch to stay in his lane? Wtf is that whos controlling poor dutch?
I know Ken, great guy.
what if Ken Kennedy comes back at the Rumble & Screws Randy Orton out of the title & then they both enter the rumble & eliminate each other. They had Real issues Just like Orton had with Kingston And they used it for a Great angle .
Scott Dukes whos a jobber even said the wwe is one big klik
