I didn't think this anxiety attack would ever go away. 3 days and no relief. Maybe a few good hours of sleep. Never in a million year would I have thought a video of someone repairing shoes would be the thing to calm my mind down. Yet here I am actually relaxed enough to feel comfortable.

I also suggest watching asmr cooking videos! Those always help me with my anxiety. Channels like Hanse and Hidamari Cooking are some of my faves!
I have a breathing method to calm down maybe this can help. Breathe in slowly counting to 5. Hold your breath counting to 5. Slowly breathe out counting to 5. Hold your breath counting to 5. Once I do this 2 times I already feel much calmer.

The leather itself is great, but GOD the last they use is ugly
These are vintage, Gucci do not make them like this any more, quality has declined exponentially over the years, you're better off buying a vintage pair and getting it restored :)

jmsic33 the hardware doesn’t come like that, I own a pair of the horsebit loafers and the hardware isn’t shiny, however it is polished to a high standard finish so he definitely could have polished the horsebit detail.
a reminder that this is someone else's work, you dont know more than what you are seeing. i kindly suggest celebrating the hard work before offering a criticism.

i have gucci loafers and just wanted to let you know these loafers last a lifetime! this shoe was one of the first designed by gucci and no wonder it still reigns! enjoy them and dont worry about them getting ruined, that only makes the shoes feel like a burden instead of a prize! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Kinda sad that he switched from leather to rubber on the sole
jhoranxx in this case, the shoes are pretty old and leather would continue to wear the shoes down the same. By adding rubber soles the upper part of the shoe tends to last longer. Plus the rubber stops the person from slipping around on slick surfaces, and adds an extra layer of cushion. The interior cushion is probably worn down as well. Who knows!

can you use pure white vinegar (cheap from the supermarket) instead of saddle soap? I've read that the acidity in it would be a better fit for leather than rather basic nature of saddle soap
