Is Bobby photoshopped?
When did ever appear onstage looking like The Joker?
😅😅😅
This reminds me of a part from Phil Lesh's book. For some benefit concert in the late 80s, they wanted him to play in a full on Barney the Dinosaur costume. He said no because "I'll never be able to feel the strings". As a compromise they had another guy in the costume pretending to play the bass - with Phil actually playing, hidden behind a speaker stack. But they pranked Jerry and didn't tell him, so Jerry looks up and thinks Phil is in there playing, HEARING what has to be Phil but not believing his F'ing eyes 😂
That lovelight ending was supreme and the last 20 minutes is a trip from outer space!
Wall of Sound you make an old man very very happy! These wonderful shows you post are pleasure beyond belief. You have mastered time travel and I become young again. Thank you!!!!!
Wall of Sound is one of just a handful of CZcamsrs that make me “Stop everything and download now” when I see that they posted. Thanks Wall of Sound for consistent excellence!
Best Curator on CZcams by far.

Couldn’t say it better!
the way doin that rag hits on these pre 70 recordings... like a space ship that takes my soul to the great sparkling clouds of the universe... thanks for upload wos
I love all eras of our beloved band’s output, but it’s this Sixties acid-drenched-emanating-from-another-dimension-entirely stuff that really really does it for me. Thank you WoS ❤❤❤
Agreed entirely. Garcia is on fire!!!
Say it again, brother. 😎✌️
HOLY BAJOLIES!!!
What a fun show!?
Country ROOTS.
Diving deep into the psychedelic rock!
A WEEPY AND WEARY ENDING TO CRYPTICAL ENVELOPMENT!
I feel like I just fed AI all of the data on my favorite late '60s shows and it's spit out this one!
💥💖💥
Woo hoo! I remember the old Electric Factory, although sadly I never saw the Dead there. A nice warehousey place to hear great bands, and the tickets were cheap enough for a working-class high school or college kid. Saw Big Brother with Janis there, Jimi, the Velvet Underground, Cream, the Mothers...Thanks so much, buddy!
wow !
you are very lucky sir that sounds beautiful!
That is a really nice segue from Mountains of the Moon to Dark Star. It really takes me back.

That photo of Bob really says so much about his two faces.
Quite a wild show this one.
The last and best show of the tour, fully at the level of the Live Dead Fillmore West run 2 weeks later. Absolutely prime Dead. Nice call, Mr. Wall.
Sweet
Damn! Bobby’s early version of The Joker!!!
Mountains of the Moon > Dark Star is a transition I could’ve gotten used to. Excellent show. Thanks
Great pick of Ace. And thanks for this audio jewel offered to the sunset.

@krissantos5170 Hey now, SANDY TOES!! Hope all is well with you. ❤️LOVE &LIGHTsent ur way!!
One of my favourite shows, building up to the 'Live Dead' shows at the end of the month. Second set is Jerry at his best, right on the edge. I've had this on an .shn for years. This is a good remaster. Thanks for sharing WOS.
I totally agree
The bus came by and got on😊
I got on it 53 years ago, but still prefer these concert recodings from 55-56 years ago.
‘67 I got on.
Good stuff. Thanks WoS!
Thanks.

One of the best 'Eleven's I've ever heard.
Excellent
Good and Weird.
Nice dig!
The greatest era IMHO. Is that Tom Constanten on keys?
Never seen this picture of Bob. Any ideas where it's from?

I would guess it's '70s Winterland shenanigans
Bout to tell yall about my baaabbby
Omgggg! I never knew they played the E factory. 😭
The original Electric Factory. They played there 2/14/69 also, and once in '68. In the fall of 1970 they played at Irvine Auditorium, although I have never found a recording, even an audience tape of that show. There are large gaps in 1970 due to the incarceration of Bear.
When Bobby ran away to P.T. Barnum's for a couple weeks, such a Boho no no😆
It's from a BERTHA show in Nashville , Bobby Weir looking cat . Just recently , can't remember date .
Weir has a good face for joker
THE DEAD PLAYED THE E FACTORY??? that's insane. I can't imagine seeing them there.
Review from “Daily Dose of the Dead”: If you want guitar, this is your night. There are other peak Jerry shows, but this is definitely in the pantheon.
Timestamps hopefully coming soon!
did u call me?... because I'm working on it... yippee hippie happy Sunday ✌️
@@krissantos5170thank you!
Bobby's up to some freaky Bohemian Grove shiz 😂
If you think last-stage capitalism is "freaky".
He's in a club with people who start wars, military contractors, and "Captains of Industry"
@georgemetesky5519 don't forget New Coke and making Steve Gutenberg a star.
