If only, Wargamings excuse is that it would lengthen matchmaking que times which I’m 90% sure most of us wouldn’t mind if it meant better quality matches. They’ll never do it though because they’d have to rebalance certain tanks and premium matchmaking tanks would only be allowed to play their tier or lower.
Would like to be able to change one perk for 10 gold instead of having to spend 90 to re spec the entire crew only to put most of the same perks back on when making small changes

Yeah. Trinkets for your tanks are a nonexistent priority for me when everything else about the game is completely fucked up.

So yes let the players customize their tanks give us a real customization garage. And when u put skins out to buy then put them on the vechicle to buy no just in garage then take them away. I will spend money on skins I would spend money to make my own skin. Now ow commanders increase their skills level
I agree with some comments here. The key issues are for me:
1. Matchmaking please only +/-1 max. If WN8 rating of players can be included as well would be great.
2. As these bloody AVRE and Tarans will not be nerved by Wargaming (Premium Tanks) give them un-preferential matchmaking so they only see T10. Not even T9. Furthermore only one AVRE and 1 Taran per team. Honestly I don’t care if players of these tanks will wait to join a battle for several minutes.
3. Ghost Shells and strange bounces. Like bouncing of a Leopard PTA with premium ammunition of my SU-122/54😮
We need field mods from pc. Equipment like bounty equipment may be too complex for our simple ass game but I wouldn’t mind more options
Field mods should be a thing tho for sure, give us a reason to play our tanks more
I would like to be able to inter swap crew skills without it costing gold that would be a good start it's just no fun that I can't make builds the way I want to or else I'll go broke 😔 makes the game boring cuz I use the same few default Crews on every tank that I'm not going to swap anything cuz it'll cost gold game so damn boring

I would be most interested in the competitive aspect of the game. I would love to see something like a leader board for the day/week/month. Who has the highest win percentage, or who has the highest damage in a single game? There are 3rd party sites that show a lot of this information, but I want to see it in the game. Most of the time I don't even pay much attention to whom I am playing against or with. I may have played against you and didn't even realize it. I want to be able to look up other tankers and see if I have ever played against them or killed them in a game. More in game community statistics and interaction is what I feel is needed.
Damage leaders would be great, but win/loss is a waste. Win percentage is essentially worthless in a game of 15v15. Your too dependent on the other 14 players for this statistic to mean anything. When players state their win percentage, I always say so what? I can learn much more about a player by seeing their damage per game. I mean, there's only so much control anyone has over whether they get a win or not, but each player has a say in the damage they put out.

Ok if, there is one thing i majority dislike about the game is they stripped the game of its uniqueness when they took away advantage spots that you could get to and now they have invisible walled the entirety of their game in such a manner its not worth it to play lights when they strip you of your speed and climbing. This is when swimming lessons and other perks were amazing. So, now its pointless to take off road driving and such. I dont play my lights anymore because they took away its uniqueness in able to find insane spots.
Oh yeah, here is something else. When you buy a tank, it should be as is. (Armadillo) and others. If something is considered OP, then it is. That is part of the challenge to defeat it. If all tanks are to be balanced, then you only need one tank. I people try to get an advantage and spend money for that advantage if their is none, then why pay for it. For those who dont pay for it, they use the skills they have to beat the OP tanks ( stop the wussing about!)
I really liked the commanders with special skills like the Karl Kraft skill, or the skill you could get with the Snakebite. We had this, but it was taken from is. Why not putting this back in the game? Another thing I would like to get back would be night battles
Another problem that has seemed to arise lately is base capping. Everyone seems to be capping bases and players just keep trying to get thst damage and no one will go back to protect base. I had a game last night in which the opposing team won by capping the neutral base at the 11 min mark. The score was literally 14-13 when game ended. Only 3 total tanks destroyed, out of 30, in the game. That was the worst ive experienced, but it seems to be happening more frequently.

I try to skill my commander based on the tanks weakness , but yes it’s usually the same crap for each one. we shall see if they do that sort of customization

Agree more customization would be great, a relatively easy start surely would be to just give us an extra two equipment slots and an extra 3 skill slots, then we could at least utilise the existing options more effectively and new equipment and slots could be added later.
Make the useless perks useful. For example, nobody uses 'gunsmith.' Make it so that 'gunsmith' gives you a small accuracy and dispersion buff WITHOUT damage to your gun in addition to the buff that it gives to a damaged gun. Combine some of the lesser used perks like 'Firefighting' and 'Fire prevention.' Buff useless perks like 'Comms Technician' and make it so that any allies in your signal range also get a view range buff. Add a slot for class specific skills, i.e. light tank commanders are the only commanders with access to roll-over recovery, trick driving, and swim lessons and they can choose from those three as their 10th skill without sacrificing one of their 9 standard skill slots for it.

They need a 7 v 7 competetive mode instead of the same 15 v 15, definitely not enough modes after all these years, not to mention they could easily have tournaments with prizes every month and more camo options for console

Hi eclipse good vid and a lot to mull over, and FINALLY you've touched on something that i have been wanting to scream from the rooftops and that is COMMANDERS.
I'm sick of the amount of them in the game ,i use most for currency .... however, why cant they all have certain attributes.... i.e -do you remember BOGATYR , he used to have a 25% boost to penetration over distance ( if i remember right) , and i think that there was 1 or 2 other's with different perks too....and then came 6.0.....
Do u know if bogatyr still has that "perk" nowadays ?
For me it is a way of increasing the customisation greatly to compliment your play style and it's staring WG in the face ! and shouldn't cost too much to implement.

I still love the idea of, similar to PC, blocking a map you don't want to see in the cycle. I last heard pc players can choose 3. I'd be happy with one. I could eliminate a huge open map on say, my E-100.
I agree with you. I wish some of the commanders that I had the unique perk. Like back in the days. But that perk shouldn't count like one slot already.
I think the missile tracking warning should be a standard warning like the targeted and arty targeted warnings. You shouldn't have to sacrifice another piece of equipment.
They should add the old end of match stats were you used to see what tanks you hit and how much damage you did to that tank. also add a part where you can see what rounds pined and where.
My recommendation is to give each tank a unique passive. For example Enigma should be able to bounce all atgms from its turret, or FV4005 should gain the increased speed when losing a shot.
They can simply give one or two commander perk or equipment to some tanks as their passive.
Some way to set aside 2 commander skill slots as ‘sideboard’ skills, that you could swap in and out based on tank would be amazing.
I like meaningless cosmetic stuff, so resizable - movable emblems etc would be welcome.
And my friends and I want all our garages to be visible to one another to walk around in. Seems pointless only having it visible to me in a limited way.

I used to do the exact same 3 or 4 initial skills on my commander.
What I've done lately is change it up and give every commander Born Leader as the first skill. Kinda have to on that one
Then I add skills based on what vehicle I want to put them in.
I have a spotter commander that's also a speedy light tank specialist.
I have an SP AT commander that's a sneaky, camouflaged guy.
Then later I add in the Rapid Loading, Steady Aim and the other couple of skills I used to always do first.
I find this to be a lot more fun and makes the commanders more combat specific
1. Well the fun part is, that actually things like the mentioned Matchmaking ARE fixed - in ColdWar Mode!
In ColdWar there is actually a +/-0 MM. But for the variation, i'm in for a +/-1 MM, they still could keep the Tanks with prefered MM to get +0/-1 MM
2. I wonder why there are not more options in customizing the Commanders, sure there are some unique you don't event want to change, but how about this:
Buy a Standart Crew for 500.000 Silver, Change Hair Color, Hairstyle (like 5-6 Options each would be fine) and maybe give it 2-3 outfits to wear (yh i know there are helmets and stuff) and a Coloroption to it. You could add some "rare" Hairstyles or Outfits wich cost a few Gold, why not, an then also add the Option to make this Commander "Premium" or "Hero", of corse this would cost you Gold, but you would at least HAVE the Option to make Your own 130% XP Hero Crew with a unique look to it

I've been in tier VI prems for couple days and all I get is tier VIII games I would luv just to fight 1 tier higher instead of 2 tiers higher ..... & its the same with VIIIs I only fight Xs .. very frustrating at times theres no need 2 fight top tier all the time 😂

I love the custom garage just not the fact that some of the custom items like the tanks cost gold... things that's Dumb AF like why gold dose nothing but cosmetic that no one else sees but myself unless I'm streaming but I never do so it's just sad 😔
If you want to swap one perk out for a fully skilled commander, you should only be charged 10 gold for the one perk you actually change, not 90. So sleazy, WG.

I’d like little crew figures in the open tanks like Nashorn,Jackson ect. Even maybe a Commander in the Top Hatch. Don’t have to move or anything but look like the Tank is crewed.

Too many people are casual players. When we had 26 skills, the casual players were stomped, and they gave up. It would suck to have all the crews i had with, like 20 skills to have all things change back and have to grind all over again. This basic set of skills makes the playing field somewhat more even.....More maps are a better thing. Some tanks like the mobat don't have a secondary gun, which they should in cold war. .....Pro shop add-ons like foliage or reactive add-ons could change basic dynamics. I agree that the emblem sizes are too small. I don't use them because the murals can't be seen(shameful). Make it so you can record your voice to a commander to say things that only you can hear to get some laughs. (Use your imagination). BUT MOSTLY FIX THE GAME MECHANICS.
Fix matchmaking. And make the bots repair themselves and cap the flipping base .
They could add an enhanced Jerry can where if you use it, you will gain extra horsepower temporarily and extra rotation speed also temporarily, like enhanced rations but for movement.
I have that on my Ru. It's in the game already and does exactly that.

I never really check my consumables I just put on the rations enhanced repair kit and med kit and keep those in all my tanks

Earn ops requiring 275 points for a Tier 8 cannon fodder tank for T10 matchmaking.

Customization is all well and good, but I think wargaming still needs to adress the golden elephant in the room
Premium tanks have made a mockery of balance in this game. If they're unwilling to nerf them, perhaps they should uptier vehicles like the pz V/IV, Absolution, Borasque, and Vanguard
The game needs to be a more enjoyable experience, even if you end up losing in the end. The feeling of fairness can help bring people back into the game and give the matchmaker more people to work with

Emblems and camo. Yes we should be able to position emblems, inscriptions and flags where we want them. We should also be able to resize them to suit our tank.
Also why not give us a MB class 1 emblem once the tank has earned a certain number..not like 5000 but something sensible? Same for Ace Tanker, maybe more of those but again not 10,000...and again where we want and sized as we want. As you say a lot of these emblems are so small there's zero point having them.
I'd like my Donbas Avenger back as well please...
Equipment/Loadout. Now some earlier tanks didn't have ventilation, like some Russian ones. But without it gases build up and your crew end up going to sleep. So after a certain point tanks have ventilation built in. They could even have air con but that's expensive. So most of these tanks do not need vents, they should already have it. Plus of course gases building up can ignite on ya...Kaboooom.
You mention swimming lessons giving you an extra bit of time before your tank crew drown. Good idea why not? But, in the case of say a T72 they come with a snorkel...these tanks can cross water up to 5 meters deep with the snorkel. That'd make things interesting..given you'd have to take a little time to install and uninstall said snorkel..but not half the ruddy game time.
Amphibious tanks should..float. They don't..why not?
Camo. Yes great idea, why can't we alter and customise the camo the way we'd like it?
Now, in WWII we get just the same few equipment options but in C/W as you say they get smoke... a lot of WWII tanks have smoke launchers so where's the ruddy smoke cannisters? In C/W some do not have smoke launchers so how do they launch smoke cannisters exactly? Does someone open the hatch and chuck it out...?
IF the arty guys don't like smoke then tough..it's part of the game or should be. So you wait until the smoke clears or the tank tries making it's escape. Might make playing slower heavies a bit more doable.
Hull patch repair kits have saved my C/W tanks more than a few times so why do we not have those in WWII either?
Commanders. It costs ya what is it..60 Gold just to put the commander in a different nation's tank? Why? I should be able to deploy my commanders to which ever tank I want..they are MY commanders.
In case anyone isn't aware, when your premium tanky says it has say a 150 silver or commander bonus this does not mean it gives you an extra 150%.
The 100% is what the tank gets by default the "extra" is the number after the 100%. So say it's 135% you ONLY get an extra 35%..NOTan extra 135.
Silver or commander xp. But if you know how to do it you can get an extra 100% bonus. For silver and commander xp.
Costs of. I think the cost of a lot of the ammo is bloody ridiculous. Also if you look at the pugnacious it's missiles cost way less than it's APFSDS rounds....C'mon WG, how is a missile or rocket so cheap compared to an AP round?
Equipment. 10,000 silver just for one repair kit or whichever...10,000 silver every time you use one. Except the first one if you have some in the bank so to speak. Is it any wonder games cost you 80,00 silver or however much depending on...the game. Enhanced they may be but C'mon..
Also the free xp needed to..unlock many tanks is far more than many players can achieve. Why the hell do you need to unlock the thing anyway..they cost enough for the gold to buy them..for premium tanks..and enough for tech tree ones come to that.

Armour. To my mind the HP..armour..on many of these pixel tanks is either too much or nowhere near enough...mostly no where near enough.
Ammo power has become more and more powerful to the point many tanks are dead in one or two hits...what is the point of this?
Take that bloody shitbarn..that gun is ridiculous. Plus it is too fast, it's hull and turret rotation is as well..How much does that thing weigh..
Also if you know how to work out the tank's weight using it's horsepower to weight ratio well ok..but why do they NOT give the weight of the tanks in it's specs?
Speaking of tanks, Tier 8. I counted them a few days ago..199..Yes 199 of them..WHAT? WHY the hell are there so many Tier 8 tanks in this game.
Yet Tier 9 and 10 there's not many and can you buy them all? So how do you get them? Same applies to C/W.
Garage gear. Great idea, but they cost too much just to have a few ammo boxes..which are all the same. IF they want your cash then why don't they just put all the gear there for us to waste more money on? Just the cost of buying another tank slot for your garage costs more than many players can afford or want to give to WG.
I'd like to see a few mechanics working on the tanks. Troops in the battlefield..make it more realistic.
Maybe let us customise other environments we might park the tank in when they're in the field not in a garage.
MISSILES. Far too many of these bloody things now. They are a royal pain in the arse. They should only allow no more than one or two in each game at the most..same for shitbarns...many games there's 5 or more of those things in each team.
Engagement in the game..game experience. You want my honest opinion on this? ... It is a complete shitstorm of a game. The most stupid unplayable crapfest I have ever attempted to play. The "experience" of playing this game is horrendous.
Last night, 12 games. We won 2 if I recall. In at least half ..or more my tank was totalled within minutes..not even minutes in a few games. It felt like I was back on day one..!! Even the tanks I play best didn't last long no matter what I did. I have had this far too many times to the point I lose confidence in every tank I like best. And this was no one off either..not by a long chalk.
Now, I know exactly how this game's "balancing" works and why. The use of bot tanks anywhere from Tier 1 to Tier 10 or era 1, 2 or 3 makes zero difference to having 15 players in the game. IF that game is going to be a total crapfest then it will be. Regardless of bots or players. And you will lose very quickly. Yes some players are so much better than the rest of us and can get 50000 damage and MVPs and even win lost games sometimes...especially platooning. But for everyone else it's impossible.
And yes eventually the RNG (ROTTEN NASTY GAME) roundabout changes direction and now the matchmaking favours your team and the enemy team are going to be toast more often than not...then it swings back again and on it goes.
Now and again it matches players or bots programmed as near as possible to the same level of ability of similar ability..with a few suicide merchants or suicidal bots who die in the first few minutes. But then you get a battle, more tactical gameplay, either side could win and the game lasts longer. This doesn't happen often enough.
Instead it's mostly game over in 2.46 minutes or 3.5 minutes..or maybe 4 something minutes. So you can spend more silver and more cash spamming more gold rounds if your daft enough.
Most of the time it's one extreme or the other...NOT balanced at all in any fair way for the players...PAYING customers. IF you are daft enough to spend silly money. I do not pay for gold to buy premium time, haven't for a while. No need to. I do not pay for gold to but silver...Jeeze how daft can you be...etc etc.
Yes I know costs are high now and it will cost a lot for WG to develop the game but, given the software and graphics engines they have how costly is it really to create a new pixel daft tank?
And yes WG has grown into a quite large corporation and it costs money to keep it going. But there's a limit.
Here's another thought though. Instead of WG and their never ending "new" stupid tanks tanks, why not let us build our own?
They could easily give us hulls for different tanks, turrets, gun options etc etc..including armour..within certain sensible limits. Extra applique armour, additional bits n pieces some might like to add to give the tank a more personal appearance...But not costing 100,000 gold. Maybe cheaper for the lower tier tanks and era one but not becoming totally stupid as you go up the tiers and eras.
And get the balancing better so we can actually battle our tanks for more than 2 or 3 minutes.
The idea of this game was brilliant. But they ruined it from the very start. But they can improve it if they wanted to. It was hard enough when I first started playing this game. God help new players these days..This game does NOT welcome new players does it. It does not give new or casual players a good experience at all, quite the opposite. It does not encourage new players to continue playing the game. It favours the uni's and veteran players with more ability in this game than most of us. THEY spend on their gold ammo and new premium tanks every week..or month.
Now I am not the best player in this game but I ain't the worse either..but these days like I say I feel like I'm back to day one more than I should.
Just the past two weeks for me this game has been impossible 70/75%% of the time. Utterly stupid. Now I ain't a UNI but I'm not the worse player either but recently it's just been impossible. Good job I have spare controllers...
I am 5 minutes away from ditching this crapfest for good...better things to do with my time.
Ok this is separate, My man Eclipse! Great video and you are right this game is over 10 years old at this point and the customization table is awful, i can't believe that WG put more effort into the garage customization than the tanks, i mean for example even the French tanks when you want to put let's say a dessert camo on them, they look awful because it is the tan camo over the blue-ish base camo (that is so lazy WG), also we could use more Historacal camos on a lot of tanks, yes there were a few addded with cold war like the NATO camos and others, but man even the Germans had some Dark green and brown camos or paint during ww2 for their tanks, we are missing a lot of great looking camos for each nation!, same goes for adding little things like tracks or insignias in a better way, maybe someone wants a more pristine brand new looking tank, and someone wants his tank to be as Ratty as possible with machinegun holes and some explosive damage all over their tanks.
Now on the Perk system i agree, everyone uses a very similar variations of perks where 6 to 8 are the same and maybe one change if the tank has a turret or not, that should also be changed, also people should be able to customize their reticle for example, or the HUD in general with more options, more equipment options would be great and even more slots, as in more love to the game CORE rather than a new freaking premium tank every week, that is going to be replaced the next week. DUDE there are tanks i haven't used in years for Christ sake.
But regardless great work MR TITAN, i always had gripes with the game customization in general, from tanks to HUD, WHO CARES ABOUT THE GARAGE THAT MUCH?
I once proposed to WG (they never mentioned it) but how about a system that gives veterancy for your tank (For example after 100 games with your tank, you earn a little Veteran customization paint or additive NO EMBLEM OR INSCRIPTION, and after 500 games you get a special skin from that nation on your tank and in the end the big one 1000 games and you get a very special skin for that tank and nation, but only that one veteran tank, if you want to get a new Veteran Skin, another 1000 games on another tank, is kind of the Marks but for games rather than damage, so you could have a special parade skin that makes your tank look very good, while it is also functional, and show of your marks.
I want them to add more 3d skins in the game for tech tree tanks. I really want them for ebr 105, amx elc bis and strv 103b! I will buy them Wargamming take my money!

Would just like to add a possible scam that I have been targeted with over the last few days .
Basically I have been offered xbox premium by several different players in world of tanks although I think it is the same person fishing , hope you might warn players as you have a bigger audience.
I wish they would let us design maps - like the way you can design golf courses in most golfing games. Let WG take the most popular ones and evaluate adding them to the game (since apparently, they don't have resources to develop things we need).
Customization details seem like a frivolous priority when everything about this game is so fucked up and bots are ever increasing.
I guess the game treats most guys in this comment section much much better than it does me.
It’s very interesting, this could be a great opportunity for wargaming to sell even more, they could offer an extra space for equipment for free with the purchase of 1 or 2 more equipment spaces or/and they could offer the opportunity to add 3 more skills to the total skills capacity, even if they sell some of that, could mean more options for the players and yes, more money for them!… The downside of all this!… The game has become a pay to win game, and with all that even more, but if you can afford to do it!… The decision ultimately it’s in their hands!
The game is fine literally Taran and arve needs nerfed and it's in a good spot. Era three I mean it's annoying but anti tank missiles shut down real life tanks lol. As a former tanker be thankful it's not realistic.

One last thing combine Ww2 and modern tanks so new players can play ww2 tanks. U already have t10 in modern tanks so combin them otherwise like most others I sale all modern tanks

@@joeb1185 and that’s why it’s not expanding and starting to fail. Because like many others, we just selling our our modern tanks no use in planning them. We don’t want switch out. Go switch into another game mode. You combine both game mode. You have more players playing the modern tanks and the war tanks and when people first load up now they’re not going to modern tanks. Who get on here want to play World War II tanks? That is why they call it the tanks these modern tanks they had in in West few years. People aren’t really that interested in playing them. I mean, I sell everyone of my get every time I earned one I sell itimmediately and I get the silver for and said that’s why I’m so far up and silver. I don’t need to play to get silver so you think it’s a waste of time that’s your business and that’s your opinion and opinions like an asshole everybody’s got one.

It doesn’t matter if they bring in +1/-1 nobody wants to get 1x2 shotted by broken degenerate tds who are sitting in the back of the map out spotting and auto aiming everyone and not missing a shot.
