Im considering buying a property in Cyprus as i plan to move there in the next few years for sem-retirement. Property wise, specifically i would like a town house/ apartment in tge old town area of eother Paphos or Limmasol, prefersbly requiring modernisation. Do these types of properties come up in Cyprus, as i generally just ser new build propertoes for sale.
Is there a reason why after 4 years you are still renting?
I will always rent, until I build my dream house where I will retire with my family.
Thanks for the video. Why do you need a licensed agent to buy in an auction in Cyprus? I thought in most European countries you can just register yourself on the bank auction website and buy the property without any middleman

From what you've seen, living in Paphos for 4 years, do you feel you will eventually buy a house there?
Hey, that's an interesting question, but I can't answer it right now. In general, Paphos is surely an amazing place to buy a property, but to me personally, there are some other things on the to do list before that.
How many properties did you buy until now in Cyprus?
Cyprus has seen a lot of immigration due to the war between Russia and Ukraine, and the war between Israel and Palestine is expected to bring in more. Of course, legal immigration is fine, but I expect a lot of illegal immigrants from the Middle East. Won't they disrupt the security of Cyprus and make it an unpleasant place to live? In fact, there were large protests against illegal immigrants in Paphos and Limassol two months ago.

In Canada Facebook is loaded with housing scams and rarely do properly licensed agents deal with anything FB. BUT I'm open to maybe in some areas of the world it is different.
Now, unfortunately a lot of scams are listed as well, that's why online marketplaces like FB are not my go-to choice anymore.
