- This week I had the pleasure of using products from the New Maker's Box by Sonnet's Garden Blooms to upcycle some items from my stash and create a cute and colorful vignette!

The knob on the little box was the finishing touch! The “maker’s box “ really looked like a great idea for new crafters! ❤❤❤

I loved the frame with the Kissing Booth pink... I would've never thought of that for a picture frame but it was beautiful. And that box! Prairie Sunset is such a pretty color & the paper makes it perfect. ❤

Rachel! Your shadowing is absolutely PERFECT!!!! Black/Dark wax is always used for the “nooks and crannies” 🙄 however your examples are EXACTLY what they are meant for! The highlight areas really shine! You KILLED these!!!! ❤❤❤❤

Well Rachel…you say a junk run like it’s a bad thing! I enjoy your makeovers alot but anything green, yellow or peach can’t help but end up beautiful. I just love anything in those three colors BUT that’s not to say I don’t like the blues, pinks and whites either. I think I just love everything you remake. Wanna come for a visit, remake some of my things and call it a vacation? I’ll cook!!!:):):)

Ok, I officially love "in a pickle". That is a gorgeous color! Oh yeah, I can visualize those candle holders in my decor. On the other hand, kissing booth is one that I don't know that I would use for my projects for our house. It is just too bold for my tastes. That being said, the frame turned out beautiful. The black wax really was the perfect touch. The tray is beautiful! The knob just made the whole box. It was a good idea, though when you first said knob, I was thinking a metal one and wasn't sure. Shows how much I know, even having followed you for this long. LOL. Have a great weekend Rachel and can't wait to see you again on Tuesday. By the way, I didn't get this notification or Tues. All projects turned out beautifully. I would never have thought to use such a bold pink but the paper went perfectly with it and with the black wax, it ended up being my favorite with the candle pillars a close second. I’m going to be bold and step out of my comfort zone and try some new colors. I do love fusion paint, my favorite of the brands I use.❤
Sometimes it's nice to step outside of our comfort zones with color. :) Goodness knows Kissing Booth isn't a color I normally reach for, but I sure love the way the frame turned out!! Thank you so much!!

Hi Rachel! You're the first creator I watched using Sonnets Maker Box. I have mixed feelings about the contents. Lets just say you did a fantastic job (as usual) with what you had to work with. I do really like Royce's bird paper. It was very different than her others. And Fusion paint is the absolute best right! I guess that's why its so expensive. I'm going to get every color when my budget allows. :-)
Fusion is great! I love it because it has the base and top coats included. I hate painting (but do it anyway!) so the fewer coats the better. LOL!

You did a great job on your shadowing your black paint! I have never seen that procedure and also the wet distressing looked so good and what a great idea to use it to get the unwanted paint on the back! Love the video learned several new things!!

Oh my goodness! Your projects were beautiful!! I got my Maker's Box from Sonnet a little over a week ago but haven't had a chance to dig into it yet because I was busy putting the finishing touches together for my daughter's wedding last Saturday (June 8th). I'm finally ready to start making some things so I was excited to see that you did a video with the items from the Maker's Box!! Thank you so much for sharing. I haven't used milk paint or fusion paint so I am super excited to give those a try 🙂

Rachel these are all beautiful ❤. I use fusion paint all the time and I love it! I get mine from Susie on the Farm if you would like to support her. She is amazing! The fusion has no brush strokes with a good brush it saves so much time ❤❤❤
You do need to seal after you stencil or decoupage even with the fusion paint. I loved the box.
