- Join us for our first impressions of Islamabads as we explore Islamabad for the first time! In today’s vlog we will be exploring Pakistan’s modern city of Islamabads.
We start our day with heading over to the Pakistan Monument where we admire the beautiful architecture as well as the incredible view. After that we head over to the Faisal Mosque, a stunning and beautiful mosque (which was much larger than we thought) where we meet some friendly locals!
Next on our list was the village of Saidpur, which is located just a short ride out of the city. We have some drinks at Des Pardes restaurant with our driver and admire some of the sights in Saidpur village.
For the last stop of our day we head over to the famous Monal restaurant to enjoy a delicious meal and the incredible views over Islamabad!
This was our first time exploring the city of Islamabad, but we know we will be back for sure! So if you have any other suggestions on what we should see or do be sure to let us know in the comment section down below!

As a Pakistani I really don't like the people bothering tourists and foreigners for selfies, I am sure it gets annoying after a while. I wish their curiosity was not as much as it is but sadly that is not so.
Kind of you to be nice and patient with these people.
Honestly we don't mind. We love meeting new people. Everyone was very friendly but if people are being rude we just walk away! ( Which didn;'t happen on this trip)😀👍

When I went to monument l(ong time ago) it didn't have any charges for us pakistani. Not sure if they've changed it for everyone or so.

You should visit Hunza, skardu valleys and whole Gilgit Baltistan. They are heaven on earth. Search these areas on CZcams and they will compel you to visit them.

I have been to Pakistan Monuments a couple of years ago. It was well before the pandemic erupted. So, they charged a nominal entry ticket. But, they might exceed the price, considering the new developments in rules and regulations. I hope your stay has been amazing in my beloved country.

The difference between د and ڈ is in how hard the D sound is, د is pronounced the same as 'Th' in though, and ڈ is pronounced like regular D as in doom or dough. So yeah you were pronouncing it kinda correctly. Except that it's day-ra not deera. The ee and ay sound (both represented by the same symbol when between letters with two dots underneath and are both called yay, ee sound by the letter choti/small or round yay ی , and the aye sound by the letter Barri/bigger yay ے )
