  • Both Psalm 14:1 and Psalm 53:1 read, “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’” Some take these verses to mean that atheists are stupid, that is, lacking intelligence. However, that is not the only meaning of the Hebrew word translated “fool.” How does the Bible describe a fool? What is the Biblical definition of a fool? In this video Pastor Nelson answers the question: What does the Bible mean when it says, “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’”

The fool said: "There is no such thing as gravity and no one will die by jumping off a high building." Then the fool jumped and died.
You can reason and even win all you want. But at the end of the day, the truth cannot be reason away and everyone will pay a price for their actions.

The fool said "This stage 4 terminal lung cancer won't kill me I've got Jesus on my side" and then the fool died a slow miserable death.

And this is how you get extremists who do inhumane things and treat others that don't follow their unproven beliefs as lesser than them.
