Got mine for same price as you but back in October. I have 2200 miles on mine. It gets better as you break it in, around 1100 miles I noticed a great improvement. Fun and practical bike, love it.
Much as I like all those efi cruisers and adv bikes, there's something to be said about a bare bones carbed bike. Can't beat the simplicity and dependability of most of these bikes.
Great basic review. I do believe you’d be pleasantly surprised with the foot peg update, standing or not. Just my 2 cents. Although I’m sure they was spendy, your dealer set you up very nicely with the hand Guards. A+
I love my Honda❤❤❤ XR150L but the factory tires suck #@&)(* !!! it was a big jump from my Yamaha 1100 custom classic. To my Honda xr150l it's lighter and more maneuverable I didn't mine the loss of horsepower ! I'm just having fun on the back roads I didn't see any reason to have a bunch of money spent on modifications that wasn't going to make a difference in the fun Factor I just put a black milk crate and bungee cords to hold it place . I also got an ATV Bungee cargo net to hold a few larger items or groceries. I found once or twice in rough terrain or hard bumps on a road some of my stuff could bounce out and I was having to go back and look for fishing pole bucket and fish😅 The only other thing I think I want to get now is tires I look at the shinko 244 ) 275 front 460 back tires were suggested by mish mash Moto . Great video appreciate it.
@@MishMashMoto I ride mine to work and around town and on weekends cruising around backroads and some in the woods. It's a great utility bike and just so easy and fun to ride. Btw, you put out some good vids on this bike, I have enjoyed your content man. Keep it rolling.
Could you add links for the mods you bought, I'm planning on buying one of these so I would like to work out my budget to have everything done when I take delivery. Thanks for your review, which helped me in my decision-making process.
I run mine in a variety of conditions, lots of shifting but also 2 lane highways at 50-55 and I have measured my fuel efficiency twice. It's been in the 97, 102, and 107 were my calculations. So easy to say it will get an avg of 95-105 for me, I'm only 160 lbs though. I ride it hard in the curvy neighborhoods, wide open throttle and on highways. It's fun and efficient.
I have the same mirrors on my honda grom, i believe you have them on backwards, should be swapped and mirrors twisted around other side, The 3 sided part of mirror should be upwards if that makes sense
Check your welds... why are your mexican made bikes all spotty. Iv run a tao tao for 15k miles. You no how many issues iv had. Zero? Google lifan buddy. All led. Fuel injected true 249cc 6 speed. Theres no reason to start dumping on something. Bc you bought an overpriced 150 that had technology from the 90s
Just got mine I've put 21 miles on it and love it . $3800 out the door 3/23/24 .

Glad to see you out having fun on your XR. The tires last forever (over 6,000 miles on ours now) but they do suck in the sand, mud, and deep gravel.✌🏼
trying to get in those last few rides of the season 🤣 I can't believe the miles you guys have covered, getting a lot of good use out of your bikes.
@@timetoadventure7 The funny thing is that most of those miles was just 2 trips!

I have the SAME bike and SAME helmet, both same color.

same about brake systems on chinese bikes, but tough and reliable
Brand name on back Lugage rack ?😊
Thanks for the review! Any idea what m/p/g it gets running 50 -55 mph on the highway with the stock jets?

yep, you're right 🤣 I never even noticed until you pointed it out.
Hi what hand guards you running. And did you have to mod or cut off anything to get it to work
the guards are cerbic and the dealer installed them but it seemed bolt on. i love them, probably my fav upgrade
Can you post where you bought all of your mods?
I'll put together a short video of where to buy the stuff tomorrow
What did the 115 jet do with your fuel consumption?
it does burn more fuel, probably lost 10 km in range but I'm glad to be done with the rattling noise when you start to Rev
