- Big thanks to @baitfinesseempire for putting us onto this Tiemco Critter Tackle Wild Mouse Mini. They're pretty expensive at +$15 per mouse. However, the quality is crazy good and these are a TON of fun to fish on BFS gear. Big takeaway from this video is to go with your gut when picking baits for the day. Fish don't always do exactly what the vlog article said they should. This should not have been a topwater day in Michigan, in May. But, high pressure usually means topwater eats. We went with it and started knocking them out.

What do you think of the Tiemco Mouse?
That mouse is insane! Sorry about your thumb. That hurt even to watch. (I'm sure you'd argue about the amount of pain I felt as to what you experienced. Thank you Dr. Paul for your support!) ...Just looked like so much fun! The problem with those GoPro wide angle lenses is that your really can't see what's going on with the lure and the topwater strikes. Still a fantastic video and now I'm gonna have to spend more money on a lure than I have ever spent on a lure in my life! THANKS GUYS! Blessings!
I had been enjoying using that Kestrel rod for ned rigs for the past few weeks until it broke in the middle section of the rod fighting, not landing/high sticking, a 2lber in open water this afternoon. The rod needs more guides for how deep the taper is.

The same company makes a foam mouse that you put a single egg hook in. Not sure how big it is, but you can find it at bait finness empire.
