- Hi everyone, it's Eileen. As a luxury minimalist, I typically gravitate towards smaller bags now. I love the idea of carrying only what I need, and no other unnecessary clutter. In this video, I shared the absolute essentials that I carry in my bags almost everyday. Some of them are truly the best purchases I've made in my entire life. Hello again.Love your videos .I am 75 and a lifelong minimalist and life simplifier. I have learnt many extremely useful/beautiful ideas (I pass them on)from you proving you are never too old to learn. Also we all need reminders. I am petite and have all small handbags and one lovely claret coloured Le Pliage tote. A well curated bag is essential for me.

Re notebooks. Muji has a good selection of notebooks.
I’ve been using one that has a green cover, has grid lined pages, and is the size of a passport. I mainly use it to jot down notes (eg appointment details, quick shopping lists, etc). It probably has the similar amount of pages as a passport so it’s good to carry on the daily but if one is writing several pages a day then this particular one may not have enough pages.

Thanks to you, i just cleaned out my purse and it feels so good! I was able to remove many items i thought i had to carry around but never used. They are gone and my purse feels so much lighter. Thank you❤️

Kelly 25 is my dream bag. It’s just a perfect size. I am not a fan of mini Kelly which is too small for most women. If I want a mini bag from Hermes, Constance 18 is the smallest I would go for.
I think about what to bring with me before going out everyday. I also empty my handbag when I come home. This is to minimize the weight I carry everyday. I am also very weight conscious when choosing a new handbag.
The kelly 25 is definitely a small bag. Before getting the K25, I was hoping to get a mini kelly but I've decided it's way too small xx

Interesting daily carry. The only thing I can’t do is the kindle probably bc I use a computer/ laptop as part of my job and try to stay off when I’m not working so I read physical books.
I too have a Kindle reader. I’ve had it for ages and still works and updates. I also have a similar card holder from Coach. Definitely holds up well 👍. Thank you for sharing.

Absolutely agree that phone can be so distracting! I've been reading way more on the Kindle, we now have 3 Kindles in the house xx

I only go out for errands since I work from home so it's been reusable tote bag and LV mini pochette for me lately. I'm tempted to get the ysl supple tote but do I really need it when reusable tote bags have been working for me 😅
Mini pochette goes into most of my bags or at least the contents of it if I'll use a small bag. In it I have: Card holder, some cash, 2 disposable eyedrops, tinted lip balm, and sanitizer.

Thanks for another great video! I do have a question for you, now that you are more of a luxury minimalist. Would you buy again all the items from Hermes needed to be able to buy the Birkin and Kelly. I would love a Kelly, but don’t really want to have to build my purchase history to be able to get one. Any thoughts?

I do still use most of the Hermes pieces I own (apart from the Gambade necklace). My thoughts about Hermes have always been the same. I'd build a purchase history if there are things that I actually like, otherwise I'd move on to other brands xx

Since you mentioned a couple of hand creams, would you be able to rank your top five (or how many you feel like) favorite? I’m curious to venture out because I too prefer hydrating but non greasy finishes. And I esp trust your opinion because of your career background requiring so much hand washing
I love a lot of them to be honest. Most are great but I do find the elizabeth arden a bit heavy xx
Try Nécessaire hand cream. Recommended by a dermatologist and a very wise friend. It's nourishing, hydrating and doesn't leave a greasy finish. I keep it in my desk because it does't transfer to my keyboard. If you appreciate the smell of camphor, like I do, Yu-Be hand cream is another good one. It has a glycerine base, coats hands like a protective glove. Takes a little longer to dry down, but keeps hands well hydrated. Hope this helps!

I carry even less: no make up as I don’t wear one, no sun glasses, no air pods, no kindle, no card holder. Instead I carry a notebook 📓, wallet, phone, shopping tote, and home keys 🔑.
