- Hi there, I'm Eileen. This is my 2023 updated luxury handbag collection! I'm happy to say that I'm really pleased with my current collection. I make good sure of almost every handbag. Certain designer bags like the Birkin 25, the LV mini palmspring and the Lady Dior have bee my favourite for years, but I've also fallen in love with the contemporary luxury brand like Ateliers Auguste. Very true!! My husband is older and must carry his reading glasses every time we go out. He doesn’t use a handbag and always asks me to put his glasses in mine. I didn’t have any that fit his glasses except tote bags. So I asked him to help get a Kelly 28. He did. Kelly 28 fit reading glasses perfectly. You’ll see when you get older haha.
I am opposite. I liked bigs when I was younger now my bags are getting smaller and smaller lol

Mine have gotten smaller and smaller. I am in my 50's and don't even carry a bag anymore. Just my phone, glasses and card case with keys attached. I never thought I'd not care about handbags as they have always been my thing but here we are! I save a lot of time no longer shopping for them. Need a new hobby, lol.
To add to my comment, as one gets older, one may need to carry more including readers, medication, etc. 😊

I love the look of Kelly and its strap (in perfect length). It was once my dream bag.
But I know it’s not user-friendly and many people would choose to sell it after getting a hand on it. Birkin is known to be more practical.
Hermes is not on my to-buy list. But if I were to get one bag from Hermes, it is going to be Kelly / Birkin. I am never into the entry level bags.
With the current economic recession, the market price for first and second hand Hermes dropped quite a bit.

What are your thoughts on white bags? Would you ever get one? I love the look of them, but always feel like they’re too impractical because of how easy it is to get dirty!
Not for me 🙈 I was offered a Birkin25 in craie and I turned it down. I just couldn't imagine staining such a gorgeous piece xx

Do you keep your bags in the dust bags for now ? For me . I have no idea how to keep the bags KKUWAN . And I love every look of the bags! They are very sleek and I love the color.

Honestly I feel like when people choose good quality bags they should be used worry free like Jane Birkin used hers. Obviously awareness and upkeep is important but don't coddle bags like it'll burst into flames if it gets just one scratch lol. I'm glad you get good use out of your bags while you enjoy them.

I’ve always wanted a Chanel classic quilted vintage in pink.but when I was able to buy it, it was too small for me. For the last 30 yrs, I have tried NOT to buy leather so these bags are no longer something I can buy. I wish these companies would make alternative vegan material!
