I'm watching this after the passing of Eusebius, saw it in the news, and I wanted to know more about him. What an insightful interview. A hard and uncomfortable conversation done with such grace and objectivity. I love his tone, his pace, and his deep sense of self-awareness. It is a great loss for SA indeed

My bias almost robbed me of a very insightful interview. Loved it!

This takes me back to so many painful memories of the effect of land removal strategies of the Apartheid system that deprived our parents of full participation in the economy of our country ,I tearfully remember my father having to give up farming because of land laws meant to disempowering them because my father was strong ,clever ,did everything for his nine children like no afrikaner man would beat him in cattle ,maize farming ,he was a friend to them ,they came to buy and batter so many things ,eventually he gave up on farming ,the white farmers started coming to our village to buy the products because the black farmers where prevented from competing on equal basis with their white counterparts .
There are so many vivid pictures of being deprived especially in education limitations because I was black and I knew I was very clever but I was contained within the world where there's no opportunity to grow as a human being .

Thank you Mr Verwoerd for making me shudder in shame. Well done to Eusabius for the way you led this conversation. Here's two people looking for a way forward and given the current state of affairs who knows if forward is a way

Hate him or love him, Eusebius is a gifted debater... Challenge him at your own peril on issues he represents

Eusebius, when are you going to ask the Broederbond (Afrikanerbond...same evil) if they do not owe the country an apology? Whatever Verwoerd stood for directly comes from the Broederbond.

Was sensitively done. Also listened to this after esevius passing but i think he got more hard core as this was 3 years ago. I do think he was racist and perhaps could have done more to put a bridge across the divide. We as whites need guidance as nobody talks about anything..my son pointed out to me az a teenager i was racist and he was right. I never thought about it as i didnt question things and i was brainwashed.. interesting talk. guidance

Ah mara Eusebius mara, eish my guy...you are just too good. Plainly and respectfully said, Mr. Hendrick Verwoed was evil.
