I really hope we can maintain are momentum and keep winning football games and finish the season strong which we haven’t been able to do the last couple.
We have Kentucky and Georgia back to back.
I’m scared of Kentucky.
I have a bad feeling about it.
And Georgia as of right now is still the best team in the Country.

Georgia Bulldogs fan here, this will forever be one of the all time great moments of college football history, I’ll never forget watching this game, I was pulling for Tennessee so hard 💯🤙

From the beginning to the end, one of the best college football games of all time. The emotion was crazy and even after the game, stealing the uprights was also insane.

This game will always have a special place in my heart.
So my uncle came over like a hour before the game began, and this was the first time since July when me and my aunt moved out that we saw him. Prior to us moving out he was very, very abusive, homophobic, racist, and more (I was born in Australia, him being an American-born he only respected American-born straight white men.) I dont know why my aunt let him come over but he did. Now, we both were Volunteers fans, which was the rare common thing we had. Ans when Tennessee won, we both could finally put our disagreements and hatred for each other aside for a few minutes and celebrate the triumph the Volunteers had over 'Bama.
That's why it's special.
My FAVORITE game I have ever watched. Eclipsed in madness only by the Auburn kick-six (also a Bama loss lol)

This is why I love sports & music festivals so very much … It’s funny, but while at the Kentucky game in Knoxville last week (pregame), I made a similar observation to my son. I said “Just look around. I see people dressed like Cousin Eddie. I see people of Indian & Asian descent. Black folks. White folks. Rednecks. Preppies. Little kids. A woman who was well North of 80 and required an oxygen tank. On and on I could go. It’s just a beautiful, beautiful thing. Much love, peace & goodwill to you ✌️ And most importantly of all, GO VOLS! It was such a great year to be a Tennessee Volunteer, Vol Nation Baby!!!

From a Sooner fan joining you guys in 2024, I was PROUD of you guys when this went final. Got on the first result video I could find and said "HOLY CRAP, ROCKY TOP😃VOLS, SING IT LOUD AND PROUD ALL NIGHT."
That was 16 years of frustration coming out in that moment. The last time the Vols defeated the Crimson Tide prior to last season was 2006. The senior class at the university of Tennessee on that day was in kindergarten for that 2006 win. They nearly went through all their formal education from elementary school through college without seeing a Tennessee victory on the Third Saturday in October.
The part where the goalpost slowly falling into the crowd to the melody of Dixieland Delight is in my heart forever!!! 2022 Vol Nation!!!

I was pulling so hard for Tennessee the entire game. Historic moment in college football history. I called my mom after the kick went in and sure enough she was up watching lol. We went on to talk about how much we love the college game and the passion of the fans. This game was so good it made me reflect on my love for the game. Its a simple game, but it means a lot to so many.

It’s crazy cause eventhough I went on nightshift at the factory @7pm… we were all streaming it on our phones and our desk TVs… then as the field goal was kicked.. all the alarms in the plant went off and dozens of people trying to get on the intercom to sing Rocky top or say “it’s good!” It was a crazy night for sure !

I was at a band competition and our pit crew had set up the flat screen to the Tennessee game. We had all of the high schools flock over to watch the game while it was intermission and the whole tent went insane when we won. Minus the Alabama school that visited.
I was at a wedding and they basically stopped the wedding so we could watch the ending to the game.
And when I say the whole place went crazy I mean they went CRAZY.
(mostly Tennessee and Georgia fans *maybe a sprinkle of Bama)

That first clip. To think those kids where probably not even born yet since the last time they beat bama. Being 34 years old it really hit me hard when I remembered its been 16 freaking years.
I grew up having to deal with all the pain of losing to Bama every single year.
I was alive for the last win but of course didn’t care abt football because I was so little.
Never forget the blocked fg or the one that hurt me the most was Dobbs fumbling in 2015 or 16 I can’t remember which year exactly nor do I wanna remember lol

You basically went half your adulthood without seeing a win in this series. The Tennessee seniors that day were in kindergarten the last time the Vols had beaten Alabama. Most of those seniors were born in 2001 so that 2006 won might’ve been the only one they vividly remembered as they were pretty young in 03 and 04 when the Vols won prior to that. Then they went from early childhood to young adulthood without seeing another W in this series. Just to put in in perspective that’s a LONG time.

It had been too long. Lots of emotion in this game. Tennessee had been in the gutter for a decade and a half after poor hire after poor hire. As a Vols fan it’s been rough to watch your team go to the bottom. The fan base needed this.

One Conference Championship which was in the ACC in 69’.
And this year Tennessee matched South Carolina’s best season which was 11-2.
But Tennessee played in a bigger bowl game then they ever have as there best was only the Capital One bowl.

They’re a powerhouse but that doesn’t mean that our win against Alabama was any less of an achievement or any less of a reason to have this big of a celebration. no one is denying that Georgia is just better but it’s completely irrelevant. No one wants to see Tennessee fans happy💀
@@kinleyharris6076 I don't think it's that nobody wants to see Tenn happy but rather how insufferable a large portion of the Tennessee fan base has been. With that said Georgia has those fans too as well as Bama and Ohio' state might be the worst of all. Georgia has got to be one of the most hated teams by other fan bases and Bama as well. Gonna be a game to look forward to when Georgia goes to Tenn.

And I root for Georgia whenever they play a team that isn’t Tennessee. Butttt I would say that Alabama fans are probably the worst I’ve seen other than the portion of bad Tennessee fans. I also feel like recently ppl have been calling Tennessee fans insufferable and annoying becauseee this is the first season in like 15 years that we’ve actually been rlly good so we’re all going over the top. Which is INSANE considering they lost 15 straight.
