One of the best college football games I've ever seen in my life. Both QB's played amazing games. Both teams PERIOD gave it their all. Sad someone had to lose, nothing the losing team had to hang their heads about, great job players and coaches! God bless you all, go Buckeyes!!!

I was a freshman at UT during that magical 98 season, and it's been hard being a Vols fan since. I have wanted one more great year just so the young people could experience what it's like to beat great teams like Alabama. Now I don't think we're going undefeated and winning the national championship, but we should finish the year in the top 10 and have a season to be proud of. Finally.
The NFL will be inquiring about Heupel. The NFL teams want scoring and Josh and this dynamic offense is very favorable in the NCAA. He has had success at every team so far.
As for Hooker, he is rounding into a higher draft pick with his precision and calm ability to make timely plays.

From a casual viewers standpoint, yes, it was great, but if anyone is more that a casual fan, the mistakes made caused me take my nap at the end of regulation. Penalties, poor secondary play on Alabama's part, and sheer stupidity. When I say stupidity, I refer to why would one a yard deep in the end zone (fourth quarter) attempt to run a kick back. After the returner made it back to the 20 yard line (if he had not run, the ball would have been placed on the 25 yard line) that triggered a block in the back call. Net result: Ball for the Vols on the 5 yard line! I know that Tennessee is not an academic bastion, but one does not have to be a valedictorian to know one simply has to not attempt a run back and 25 yards is automatically yours. Yes, I had to take a nap after seeing that stupidity.

this was the greatest moment watching sports in my entire life. my dad, who was born in tennessee, sprouted his love for this team to me, and i’ve never looked back as a college football fan. so much that it tempts me to attend the university. but as a primarily local sports fan in Pennsylvania, it’s tough to experience the love for the vols as much as many others. but this game was special. i have never experienced more emotion and nerves from a game in my life. from the heartbreak of the hendon hooker fumble to the game winner, i was fully immersed to the game like i never have been before. i am extremely confident i will ever experience this type of love for a team ever again, and i think i am quite proud of that.
