He does seem to be a complete fraud. He claimed to have been in prison with the Krays but he was only 9 years old when they were in the prison he was claiming. He also claimed to have been found not guilty in 19 seperate trials that the media did not report on at all and for which there doesnt seem to be any court records or witnesses. This man seems to have been a fantasist.

I went to daves birthday bash 2 years ago at his castle in South London, and boy what a night it was, the power this guy's got is unbelievable people had drove 3 400 miles to get there, house was ramming and his club was ramming he's a good geezer, was a top night, I'll never forget the 3 hour hungover drive lol

Only found these interviews a few weeks ago. Very good. The one guy I would love to have seen James interview unfortunately isn't with us now, the much respected "Wilf Pine". What an interesting bloke. Ron Kray dedicated his book to him. He was as much at home on the streets of London as he was on the streets of New York where he was with the Genovese Crime family.

Another great interview James, I've seen many many interviews with Dave Courtney over the years, having been a doorman most of my adult life i can relate to that side of things and he always gives me a giggle. ......but him talking about his depression, pain and a real serious side that you brought out at the later stages of the interview were brilliant, enjoyed this one immensely. ..really growing as an interviewer mate keep up the good work. ....p.s. the greying temples are a nice touch 😂😂😂😂

Another fantastic interview with one of the biggest legends .i love dave Courtney a man thats lived it breathed it sent it packaging a proper old school with respect and morals like back in the day not like these cardboards we have today with all the init is is blurd bollocks walking about with there arses hanging out and a hood up in fkn july 😅 theses original guys had connections in high places keeping low profiles this lot now some 8 stone wet through pulling a knife rather than losing face on the cobbles in a one to one straighner.
