This is pretty much the best spec Camaro. Affordable and the 1LE package has more value than any other on the market. Comes with springs, shocks, diff, special gearing, tire, wheels, seat, and spoiler upgrades for $7k. The Z gives you half of that for $20k on their NISMO.

I met David while backpacking/hitchhiking through Europe. He saw that I had commented in an enthusiast group that it was my dream to do a lap of the ring. He sent me a message, and met me THE NEXT AFTERNOON at the train station. He took me into his home, introduced me to his family, and drove me across the country to the track. I had dreamt of doing one lap. WE DID 17. One of the greatest human beings I have ever met.

@@kens8903 force of habit. I lock everything down for laps in case of a rollover. Plus, less stuff to move around. It might sound silly, but I’m a muscle memory guy. Going off road? Tie everything down.
That flipped rear view nearly gave me a heart attack when the first car passed.

I watched a lot of your videos on here but i have to tell you that this was one of the most enjoyable videos. Nothing better than 2 old friends talking and enjoying themselves by doing something together that they both love. I can see why you are both friends. Very relaxed and nothing forced between you two. 👍🏻
I have one of these! Great car! When it’s in track mode, you press the traction control button twice to go into advanced trac mode. Then, you get the option of Rain, dry, sport 1 and 2, and race. The traction control system totally changes when you are in these different modes. Even makes different noises when TC activates. Bummer that he didn’t do this!
I’m still getting comfortable with the car. You’re right, but I’m working up to that. To be honest, once I get on the track with this car, I turn into a child and just press the gas and smile.
i usually watch Misha for his fierce driving and fast laps, but this is one time ... I was genuinely interested in seeing such a relaxing and fun laps and mishas dad jokes very top notch 🤣, can believe i genuinely sat and watched the whole 30min lol

Love my stock 1LE! Got it brand new for 39k, they needed to sell it, sat for 6 months cause no one wanted a stick! My gain! Not super duper fast, I’ve done 3.9, and 12.1 quarter, but fast enough to enjoy the sights and the sounds of this car, where it shines is that it does everything magnificently and brings me home safely every time! An absolute joy for 5 years! Great fun video Gentlemen!

I then started learning the track on sim racing Assetto Corsa and ACC, especially once they released the 24 hour format. Thanks for the entertainment!

Amazing how far the video quality has come, especially the shake stabilisation. It gives the viewer a more realistic sense of speed. Vids from just a few years ago makes 200kph look like you are doing warp factor 9. I spose it's because you, as the viewer are sitting still and the scenery is jumping around, quite the opposite in real life. Luv your content misha.

1LE is so worth it in the USA for $7000. Just the forged wheels and recaros are close to that. But then you get Brembos all around, HUD, triple coolers, eLSD, etc. Definitely a bargain...
