My recommendation for this kinds of games is to have a bit of an idea of what you want to do with your character and try to make it, but don't stress too much about it. Use that character to learn the game and feel free to restart a few hours later when you know a bit more what you're doing.
This game even allows you to respec wherever you want, fortunately!

Its so refreshing to see one of the D100 Warhammer systems lifted into a video game. I hope this game does good - Maybe we can get a WFRP game next!
I really want a Deathwatch RPG where we can create our own killteam comp and have bespoke team dynamics depending on the chapters that make up our killteam.
Now I would love for a proper Warhammer Fantasy cRPG

Was a big player of CRPGs back in the day, and even DM'ed the P&P version of Rogue Trader in the Koronus Sector, so it will be nice to get into familiar territory.
Owlcat has done already made some incredible games, now i dont think this will be on the level of Baldurs Gate 3 but at least as good if not better than Wrath of the Righteous
It will probably be better than BG3, at least for me. I also enjoyed WotR a lot more than it. But either way, RPG fans are eating good this year!
It definitely isn't as high production value, but whether it's more fun or not is personal preference.
#11 use [tab] to reveal things. Another thing I learned in the Beta - enjoy the view! There were a couple spots in the early game revealed by [tab] that triggered a quick cutscene panoramic view of the Temple. Besides that, just take in the environment - look around. Though I'm not sure why I'd be leisurely poking around and adding cans of Spam to my Hold when there's some emergency threatening the ship - but there you go.
Nathan this was an interesting video, not only for those who haven't played this type of game before but also those of us who haven't played in a long time.

Just as a tip when leveling. They have half steps like D&D even numbers are the full step (eg 40) and odd numbers are the half step (eg 45). Like an odd number in D&D there is isn’t a benefit for a half step (eg str 19, like 18 is a +3). So try for even numbers.
The only goal I have as of right now is romancing the Eldar Ranger in the game, that is it.

I only wish this was based around the Inquisition rather than Rogue Traders, but i also understand why they that wasn't the route taken.
To be honest, I suspect that may have done Rogue Trader instead of Dark Heresy in large part because Rogue Trader lets them do a 'trade empire' system, and Owlcat seems to like to have that kind of system in their games (Kingmaker had the Kingdom system, Wrath of the Righteous had the Crusade system, so this makes for three out of three with them).
A Dark Heresy game could have a spy network/political scheming mechanic where you gather intel and manipulate gangs and noble houses. Hell you could even make the whole thing 40k Phantom Doctrine with more RPG elements

Chaos gate, and from what I’ve seen, this game, really love powers that mess with the action economy. Is this still true? It’s usually both overpowered and not really supported by the background/universe.
Absolutely correct.
The officer can give allies either half or whole extra turns with their abilities. It's amazingly strong, especially with two officers.
First? How many rouges could a rouge trader trade if a rouge trader could trade rouges?

Ok so can someone help me so I do not just lose the mood to play this game completely? I play on PS5. I play on the first main planet, with the rebels. I am through battles with rebels, there is a section with a lot of ladders to lower sections. My characters are CONSTANTLY running into traps and getting injuries, no matter wether I try to unlink the one that can disarm traps or move together. They run all over the place, they run forward after I get down on a ladder... Is there a way to stop them???? Is there a way to navigate through traps???

Is there a lot of Reading like Pathfinder or voice acted ?
I'm only early on, but it's mixed so far. Quite a bit of reading, but some voice acting here and there.
pro-tip 1: wait for them to patch all the bugs that are dragging on the reviews
