ive just got a 1000 watt rear wheel to build another bike ,ive been messing around building my own batterys and doing the range tests on my 250 and 500 watt bikes ,dont think i will keep the 1000 watt bike as i do alot of canal riding and wouldnt need that power ,great video ,nice one
Connect pads DS and X in your controller. Enables regen braking of you use low brake. Is only active braking no regen if you use hi brake. I'm trying to design an active regen we can just install along side our controller tapp the current from the windings while coasting and braking,monitor and regen the battery with whatever current is left over after saturation. My hypothesis is the motor will run cooler and give us more regen than the conventional regen braking.

Is this mid drive or rear hub?
How do I trick my ecotric seagull to go 35 mph it does 25mph I have 1000wat rear 48v 13ma battery
There's a video on CZcams called "how to set seagull e bike to top speed" it shows how to use the lcd display to set the max speed higher.
@@EbikeRyder think I did that but it set it to 25mph there has to be another video somewheres that can set it to go faster 1000watt should go faster then 25mph
@@stevemyster3 I imagine it will be limited from the controller box, I don't know if you can locate it on the bike, it would require some soldering and a schematic layout of the controller board.
My ebike which I custom built has a 1000watt motor and I installed a 48volt 10amp battery but my max speed is only 28mph, do u have an idea why? I'm so surprised your 1000 watt motor can do 35mph flawlessly
Hi mate, the low amp (10ah) battery could be a part of it, if you get a battery with higher capacity (mines 20ah) that will definitely increase your top speed. Also if you have the Voilamart kit or one with settings accessed from the display, make sure you're controller box is set to 48v and not 36v.

is this a hub motor or a mid drive? what current are you running?
It's a rear hub 1000w motor running on a 20ah 48v battery.
How long does your battery last on 1 charge how many miles can you achieve from it?
I generally only use the throttle so no pedal assist, the most I've done on my 52v 20ah battery is around 20 miles but the battery still had charge left. If you're being economical with the power and using pedal assist, you could easily achieve 50+ miles.

Hi Lee, I have a 52v 20amp hour battery. It can do around 20-25 miles just using throttle.

It's 48v 20ah battery. It was £320 on ebay.
