actually many were upset because u mention Nmixx directly, meanwhile there were some issue when NMIXX debut and claim their MIXX concept as the First music concept coming from kpop, meanwhile aespa did it first or we can say SMP did it first. SMP is Kpop Genre that created by SM Entertainment, if you willing to watch any SM MV you will understand why some people in the comments getting sensitive with this issue. but once again, thanks for making some reaction to aespa's MV i hope we could see more coming from you
aespa debuted before nmixx! this mixing of sound is basically an SM entertainment staple, seen most clearly in Girls' Generation's "I Got a Boy" and EXO's "Tempo".

Nmixx whole concept of mixing genre was decided by JYP after seeing commercial success of aespa's next level. It was one of the most successful song of 2021 in s.korea. Many started doing that trend after seeing its success.

@@killerkoareacts If you like "experimental", though an entirely different sound than Aespa, you might want to check out Billlie, from Mystic Story, a subsidiary of SM.
They also have a big lore background: basically, on 11th day on summer a monster comes and takes you to another side of the world; their friend Billlie Love got taken, and they didn't do anything, and even lied when asked if they knew what happened to her; but later felt guilty. The MVs are all consequences of these events in different parallel universes.
Their debut RINGxRING is not for everyone and not for every occasion, but it does exactly what it was meant to, and I love it so much. They added one member right after debut (who was supposed to debut with them but was on a competition show, ranking 8th, barely missing getting into Kep1er). I suggest RINGxRING, Snowy Night, and Ring Ma Bell, which should give you an idea what they do. They recently made a comeback, but had to postpone activities (due to a very public death in the family).

Savage really is THAT title track to me. Such a great aespa song imo, and the rap verses between Giselle and Karina are perfect 👌
The order should be Black Mamba, SMCU ep 1, next level, Savage, SMCU ep2, Girls, then SMCU ep3. other songs and MV is not part of the lore. You can search for aespa lore and get all the info. its too much to explain, there is a whole story, metaverse, with fascinating concepts, a lot to do with the cyberworld, and current internet trends like social media etc. Down the rabbit hole into a well-thought out , incredible world.

Some other songs _are_ part of the lore, though not the storyline, more like the background. Aenergy introduces Aespa with their strengths, for example, and Illusion is a song from point of view of Black Mamba. (If you decide to watch Illusion, the lyrics video came out first, but you really should see the dance practice.)
Winter's growl is really so distinct and iconic in aespa songs. And note how the title tracks with her growls are usually hits? Yep, we need her to growl on their next releases for them to be popular.

Nmixx whole style of singing, music, choreo, MVs, name, everything, is based of aespa. Aespa debuted first and they were a major hit, and jyp saw how aespas experimental music was successful so he copied aespa and made nmixx. Anways moral of the story is that if you're going to copy at least do it right.
