What a missed opportunity not to have father/son battle Victor together. With all the Nikolas talk, I can't believe they still haven't found a replacement. It would have been an easy storyline for redemption and mending their relationship.
I feel horrible for Trina and Laura that they have to witness Spencer possibly being blown up/ injuried. On the other hand, I am LIVING for TABY's scenes with the NAC, GENIE, and the baby! She is INCREDIBLE in these panic scenes. Everything from @2:17 I felt it in my bones. Her facial expressions, how her voice breaks, the deep gasp, and the horror in her eyes. Damn TABY this is amazing work you're doing. Spencer knocking Victor the hell out with one spin was 🤌🏾💋 Now, I know some people are out here with the shenanigan's talking about Spencer losing his memory, blah blah blah ish. I know for damn sure if Sprina ain't bit these writers right in the feels, we wouldn't have gotten what we did with this IP story. AND if their Super Couple Love Story doesn't continue like we all want it to, then GH doesn't have sh*t else for us to watch (certainly not Willows tree weeping but not dying), so we......I will move accordingly🤷🏾♀ Sometime in the very near future I expect to see an EPIC Super Couple worthy reunion, with the tears, affection, elation of seeing each other again for SPRINA. Nikolas not showing up to be at an injured Spencer's side is definately going to raise eyebrows. Spencer is already suspicious something happened to him because he kept pressing Victor for information. Deep down, Spencer knows something bad happened to his father. With Victor gone, Spencer is going to assume the role as head of the family and I see that as the primary obstacle with his relationship with Trina. Being head of the Cassadine's is going to change him. When Nikolas took over the Cassadines he was continually at odds with his darker nature because of it, but had Emily to keep him grounded. Keep him, himself, so to speak. When she died, he gace into his darker tendacies and never looked back. Trina is Spencer's Emily. She will be the one to keep him grounded against the darker days that lie ahead. Especially when he finds out what actually happened to his father.

This. I get there were professional issues with Marcus that led to his contract not being renewed but I hate they wrote the character out at such a pivotal time. I feel like they should have recast and this would have been a perfect storyline to redeem Nikolas with. And the thing is I understand 1000% Tyler is not an option and if Adam didn't want to do it, they should have gone with someone else. I am hoping with all the mentions of Nikolas lately we might get a recast because firstly, Nik belongs on our screens and secondly, that would hopefully cause stans to leave Tyler alone. He literally can't make an Instagram post without hordes of people begging him to come back when it's basically impossible for him at this point. That's gotta be hard for him to keep seeing.

I didn't realize that but the character of Nikolas is still needed so HH needs to chop chop on that. It makes no sense for the character to be uninvolved on the story as it is. It froze Austin and Ava's part in his disappearance, too, and it's jarring to see them moving forward as if nothing ever happened.

Yes, the writing sucked and they wrote Nik into a corner, but I didn't care for MC's portrayal either. I do think when we see Joss blaming him for esme and telling him to go back to Europe that’s them trying to recapture the SJB days of Carly. It doesn’t work, but that’s what I think is going on.

I think this Foxy Brown/Buffy/Sarah Connor energy is such a fun new layer. Depending on how this IP story shapes up, we should see some great moments from her. Now that we’ve had a year with her in the role, I feel like we’re starting to see what beats Taby likes to play up. The comedy and sex appeal have been elevated. Even in this story, waffling between being frantic and confident, and a little pissed off lol….and for real, I’ll take this over Trina being depressed/sad like she was a lot through her storylines last year. And I’m sure we’ll still get plenty of that if Spencer ends up being hurt. I don’t think it’s a reach to say that had they not changed the age restrictions for younger performer, we would’ve seen an Emmy nom for her. The stuff around the trial and Rory’s death(even though we all rejoiced 🤣).

Though I'm not sure that's a good thing." I think the fight at 1:51 could have been better with a little more struggle, but otherwise, the explosion 💥 has me holding my breath 💓🫁. As far as injuries go, how about we play around with his hearing what with having a fussy baby brother and a lovely girlfriend whispering in his ear? Or they could go for his throat. How many times people have told him to "lower your voice", "keep your voice down" and the guard who said "and I'm sick of your voice" ? Either way, he needs to learn to listen more. Either way works for me.

I’m telling y’all what I don’t have time for a replay of Keesha Ward and Jason Quartermine ( introduce Jason Morgan) I completely stopped watching after they messed over Keesha in every way. I was tween then and here we are almost 30 years later feeling like they will drive Trina and Spencer apart only when they have been a official couple for a month now. Don’t get me wrong I know we have been eating up the adventure but all we really got was a few kisses and a lay down in the bed. No clear I Love you(s) or long romance. Just to put us back on the roller coaster ride again.

I'm going to miss Victor. My prediction is that the body will be a guard. That way we could potentially have the Victor character make a return. (If he dies there will be no true villains.) Also, I never understood why Vic thought he was the head of the family. Helena made it clear the line of the succession was through Stavros, meaning Nic and Spencer. Also, if that line dies out then that's it the wealth would be broken up amongst the remaining family members. There are no such things as spares. Her facial expressions, how her voice breaks, the deep gasp, and the horror in her eyes. Damn TABY this is amazing work you're doing.

Sometime in the very near future I expect to see an EPIC Super Couple worthy reunion, with the tears, affection, elation of seeing each other again for SPRINA. Cue scenes from Nem, JaSam, LnL, SnB, Vanna, etc...

Our tidbit was the mention of him have sailing school or whatever it was , he had enough time to hear, leave and swim to safety memory intake and all.
Good show today it reminded me of the old school action vibes. Cause I had stopped watching shortly after Sonny shot “Dominic”. Returned for this coupling and today was action.
Nikolas not showing up to be at an injured Spencer's side is definately going to raise eyebrows. Spencer is already suspicious something happened to him because he kept pressing Victor for information. Deep down, Spencer knows something bad happened to his father. With Victor gone, Spencer is going to assume the role as head of the family and I see that as the primary obstacle with his relationship with Trina. Being head of the Cassadine's is going to change him. When Nikolas took over the Cassadines he was continually at odds with his darker nature because of it, but had Emily to keep him grounded. Keep him, himself, so to speak. When she died, he gace into his darker tendacies and never looked back. Trina is Spencer's Emily. She will be the one to keep him grounded against the darker days that lie ahead. Especially when he finds out what actually happened to his father.
It didn't seem like Victor knew anything about Nikolas's disappearance when talking to Liz. Whoever Mason is working for has him stashed.
@@pb4ugo19 Oh, I know Victor doesn't have him. But Spencer's insistence on it was just a highlight that he knows something had to have happened to Nikolas for him to not be there. Victor is just the one person that made the most sense, which is why he asked. He would never expect Ava had anything to do with it.
Tptb really be giving Sprina ALL of the angst 🤕😭 it’s a blessing and a curse. I wish they balanced it out well with the romance but this show doesn’t know how to do that. I’m being hopeful and hoping this isn’t serious and we will see Spencer in a few days. If they drag this out I’m tired Spencer and Trina have just started dating they don’t need no serious roadblock right now they already have enough. It’s funny we were thinking that our biggest obstacle was Esme but now it’s Spencer coming back safely and not affected 😩 it’s tiresome. Tptb better do us right

Nikolas missing from this storyline is glaring. Idc if they had an issue with Coloma. No excuse not to have this character on canvas. They've had plenty of time to recast the role.

I really like Avery but Esme belongs locked up somewhere for a little bit. They should have just brought her back as a twin and no baby, though I love little Chunk Chunk
This. I get there were professional issues with Marcus that led to his contract not being renewed but I hate they wrote the character out at such a pivotal time. I feel like they should have recast and this would have been a perfect storyline to redeem Nikolas with. And the thing is I understand 1000% Tyler is not an option and if Adam didn't want to do it, they should have gone with someone else. I am hoping with all the mentions of Nikolas lately we might get a recast because firstly, Nik belongs on our screens and secondly, that would hopefully cause stans to leave Tyler alone. He literally can't make an Instagram post without hordes of people begging him to come back when it's basically impossible for him at this point. That's gotta be hard for him to keep seeing.
@@hordeofswords agreed. So, Tyler is completely out of being asked to return? Is there a reason why that you're aware of? I didn't realize that but the character of Nikolas is still needed so HH needs to chop chop on that. It makes no sense for the character to be uninvolved on the story as it is. It froze Austin and Ava's part in his disappearance, too, and it's jarring to see them moving forward as if nothing ever happened.
Just commented something similiar. It would've been the perfect opportunity for redemption and to mend their relationship.

Yes, the writing sucked and they wrote Nik into a corner, but I didn't care for MC's portrayal either. There are some actors/actresses that despite crappy writing, still manage to captivate the audience.

It seems like they’re gonna kill Victor, but I hope they don’t. The Cassadines are starting to feel like how the Quartermaine’s did. Even when she showing concern about the kidnapping, she was clearly concerned about Trina. I don’t think she even mentioned Spencer. I will say, what’s obvious to viewers is sometimes just a flaw in the writing. So we can’t depend on this to ever be addressed.
I do think when we see Joss blaming him for esme and telling him to go back to Europe that’s them trying to recapture the SJB days of Carly. It doesn’t work, but that’s what I think is going on.

I think this Foxy Brown/Buffy/Sarah Connor energy is such a fun new layer.
Depending on how this IP story shapes up, we should see some great moments from her. Now that we’ve had a year with her in the role, I feel like we’re starting to see what beats Taby likes to play up. The comedy and sex appeal have been elevated. Even in this story, waffling between being frantic and confident, and a little pissed off lol….and for real, I’ll take this over Trina being depressed/sad like she was a lot through her storylines last year. And I’m sure we’ll still get plenty of that if Spencer ends up being hurt.
I don’t think it’s a reach to say that had they not changed the age restrictions for younger performer, we would’ve seen an Emmy nom for her. The stuff around the trial and Rory’s death(even though we all rejoiced 🤣).

Though I'm not sure that's a good thing." I think the fight at 1:51 could have been better with a little more struggle, but otherwise, the explosion 💥 has me holding my breath 💓🫁.
As far as injuries go, how about we play around with his hearing what with having a fussy baby brother and a lovely girlfriend whispering in his ear? Or they could go for his throat. How many times people have told him to "lower your voice", "keep your voice down" and the guard who said "and I'm sick of your voice" ? Either way, he needs to learn to listen more. Either way works for me.

I’m telling y’all what I don’t have time for a replay of Keesha Ward and Jason Quartermine ( introduce Jason Morgan) I completely stopped watching after they messed over Keesha in every way. I was tween then and here we are almost 30 years later feeling like they will drive Trina and Spencer apart only when they have been a official couple for a month now. Don’t get me wrong I know we have been eating up the adventure but all we really got was a few kisses and a lay down in the bed. No clear I Love you(s) or long romance. Just to put us back on the roller coaster ride again.

I'm going to miss Victor. My prediction is that the body will be a guard. That way we could potentially have the Victor character make a return. (If he dies there will be no true villains.) Also, I never understood why Vic thought he was the head of the family. Helena made it clear the line of the succession was through Stavros, meaning Nic and Spencer. Also, if that line dies out then that's it the wealth would be broken up amongst the remaining family members. There are no such things as spares.
