Class fish! Would a heavier sink tip be sufficient? Would you have to get deep both day and night?
Hello at night they can lie deep yes and also 1st hour of darkness they very active at top
They similar to Sea Trout 👍

Would you use a sinking line for the dollaghan ?
Yes David they can lye on the bottom or very near it at night time
Day time depend on water height

You’ll clean them up with a weighted nymph. Upstream under an Indy or euro style.

@@johnh1577 yeah I don’t euro nymph or like fishing the bung, no doubt it’s a deadly Method.reminds me of when I first started fishing as a kid with a blue bait rod and orange bubble float . No skill in it
