The racism and lack of empathy in these comments is not surprising. Black women, take note and only worry about yourselves 💯

Since when are ABW empathetic to anyone outside of themselves? You reap what you sow.

Good topic. The black community is riddled with mental health issues and most of us don't want to deal with it. A lot of us live in war zones but expect our minds not to crack. As black people we all know at least one relative who is literally insane but the family ignores it. I couldn't even tell my family I was in therapy because they said "therapy is for crazy people". This attitude is slowly changing but not quick enough.

Yeah, BUT being vulnerable can hurt you because people in the workplace will take that information to bully, ostracize, and isolate you strategically urging you to quit instead of offering up any support.

Perhaps they should be doing more. I'm black and my depression has always manifested as laziness/apathy. At times gluttony. Nothing wrong with being honest with yourself that you're not doing enough. Not addressing it will lead to more negative behaviors and depression.

Please seek online therapy if you need someone of your hue. Just please dont give up on yourself. If you're a Christian also try reading your bible (I find Psalms chapter 34 very helpful)and praying. ❤❤❤❤😔

Sir cut the games. Black woman are choosing singleness because being with black men in more stressful and extra labor. Being responsible for managing a home, birthing/nursing/and raising children, taking care of a husband, and working a full-time job outside of the home because the black man can’t provide is living both roles. Not to mention the unhealthy relationship norms.
If more black men would welcome themselves to a man’s life they’d be able to provide, protect their families, head a household and take pressure off their wives.
Y’all too busy being mad that BW would rather be alone than continue tolerating the inequality of labor bm are dumping on their women.

People who aren’t problematic don’t do this . Also odd to hear black women talk about black men not protecting when Blake women are known for getting their brothers and other men to fight and kill in their honor , isn’t it interesting that none of y’all think you need to earn a man who protects and provide as you claim you strong and independent lol

@mericanmodi8479 There are married couples popping out babies they can’t afford. Most Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. So, living above your means seems to be a part of American culture. Why are men impregnating women they don’t want to commit to, and making children they will abandon? It takes two. So don’t act like men aren’t just as responsible.

They’re going to do that anyway.. yes bw die more during childbirth. They die more by their partners every 3 1/2 hours. And so on. If u don’t want this to be the case , then protest about it. Oh u won’t cause u don’t care but u hate the fact bw different experiences are acknowledged because then it singles out non bw and what they go through. It’s a competition with u mfs.
