For those wondering:
Yes Minecraft server did run and i hosted it via zrok BUT as of the new surge of users they have completely blocked the java server jar from running and the VM automatically kills the process.
So don't bother if you just were looking for a "free" Minecraft server.

You can run it on Oracles Cloud you can get a free arm server ( phone cpu / apple m1 ) with 4 cores 24 gb

Hetzner and other VPS providers are also worth considering, they bill you per minute the server exists, you can snapshot and delete the server then you only pay snapshot costs so don’t let those monthly prices scare you if you’re only going to spin it up once in a while, snapshots are cheap
Also, don’t use a VPN when signing up for Hetzner, it can trigger their “we don’t do business with hackers” routine 😂 some kind of automated system that flags certain accounts

It's only for 6 hours so if you publish an app with it, it will only last for a few hours and it will get deleted after that.

Many people got it shut down most likely because it wasn't even utilized enough (at least 10% CPU/RAM/Bandwidth usage).

Unfortunately it seams the game has changed, im not able to create an instance without payment, so this have most likely been ruled out by now :( I could have used this to test/train a LLM but not any more. it seams to require a payment method, at least for me.

No data is supposed to be saved because it is not stored on the server but on your account
@@vpsmaker I'm pretty sure you don't know what that means. What does "storing on your account" mean? Files are stored on physical drives, and where's the drive located? Do you mean they mount whatever drive the files on your account is shared at to the instance whenever you launch it?

I guess this is connected directly to Intel factory test facility and runs a tonne of clusters if they have all this for sharing even for a ... ok... calm down. Gonna connect eth cable directly to my IV. Incroyable Hulk and I ... only ppl on Earth needing that much RAM! OpenAI maybe as well... is hooking up to save on their electricity bills.

I can't see the ./ssh folder in the user directory
I've recently enabled the ssh for client and server from the optional features.
it will probably be called .ssh not ./ssh - On Windows its C:\Users\Nameofuser\.ssh (or %HOMEPATH%/.ssh if you want to use the abreviated form) - if you use Linux it will be /home/nameofuser/.ssh (or ~/.ssh in abreviated form)

I created the directories, but they are not working.
Now I am accessing the shell through Jupiter Notebook.

Data is automatically saved in our account, and for the gui, you can make it using another toolkit, everything is on their website

This sounds like a good way to compile things quickly, by spinning stuff up like this. I'm sure the limits are quite strict, though.
This would be a really cost effective way of compiling really large projects like Chromium, AOSP, Linux OSs etc.
