Strymon El Capistan meets 303 - Acid Trance Live Performance (Summer Open Air)

- I performed and recorded this Acid Trance Live Session during my vacation using Roland TR-8s, DinSync RE-303, Behringer TD-3-AM, @strymon El Capistan, Mackie Onyx 1620. Recorded to my MacBook Pro (2011) via audio in.
I went diving before performing and used some of the material I filmed underwater.

@@dpalaoro In case you're ok with spending quite some money on shipping you could probably find one in Germany easier. There's a guy building them here, you can just order one. Let me know if you're interested, just shipping is an issue financially. The RE-303 itself would be around 900-1000 US $ I guess.

Hallo David~ Danke damals für den Tipp, hab mir letztlich JX08 beschafft und passt absolut für den Beginn. Nun eine neue Frage: würdest du den El Capistan für Acid Zwecke am passendsten einschätzen? Hättest du Vergleichserfahrung mit zB Strymon - Timeline und/oder Big Sky? 😅 schöne Grüße nach Berlin 🖖🏻
Der Capistan ist super, die anderen Strymon Geräte aber auch, ich würde sie an deiner Stelle im Laden testen. Der Capistan ist ja vor allem für Dub Techno geeignet.
@@funkyberlin303 Vielen Dank für die Antwort - hilft mir ein Stück weiter auf jeden Fall! - mein Problem hier in China ist eben gerade, dass kein Laden in meiner Nähe ist, wo ich testen könnte und ich das nur online bestellen kann und da ich second hand kaufen möchte, auch nicht zurückschicken könnte - daher diese Fragerei ;__;

@@funkyberlin303 habe schon mitbekommen das es ein V2 gibt. Mit MIDI und all sowas. aber nicht billg wie erwartet!
nicht nur das El Capi gibt es in der V2 sondern auch das blue sky, Deco und andere. geiles Ding
