Around the time of negative press swirled around Meghan and Harry many USA tabloids led with the Prince William, Rose Hanbury story.
In their docuseries, Meghan and Harry stated that negative stories were deliberately fed to the media to protect "others" in the Royal Family...
But what if the reverse was true?
I examine that possibility in this video!

They all will add a new detail at the exact same time, which reeks of a coordinated smear campaign. The Cut, which is also repped by WME, ran an article suggesting the cheating rumor is real and chose William's birthday to troll him on Twitter by claiming he liked "pegging" (which Sussex trolls had been spreading).
Lady C I dependently proved that Meghan was the source when multiple people overheard her talking about it at SoHo House.
Catherine and Rose are still friends and Rose's son was one of the page boys during the coronation. That also tells its own story.
If there had been any truth the media would have printed it when given the ultimatum of print the proof or kill the story, the alternative being that Rose's husband was going to sue them for libel/slander. The story disappeared, wonder why

Giles Coren and Harry's wife were partying in Amsterdam as they opened a new Soho house in late 2018. Harrys wife was newly 'pregnant' but since she had not announced it yet, she didn't think anyone would remember that she was drinking and powdering her nose. As soon as Giles returned to the UK, Giles started leaking text messages that William was stepping out on his pregnant wife with their country turnip toff neighbour Rose Hanbury, the Marquess of Chomondeley's wife. Yeah, after William threatened legal action Giles started saying it was all a joke. This is a prime example of how badly Harry's wife hates her sister-in-law.
No - M had Markus Anderson leaking that to the the lower hoi polloi as early as November of 2017 - she stepped it up after the Wedding; but even before the Wedding she had MA putting that about. By February Half Term of 2018 that was the talk of most of the finer ski slopes in Europe (& everybody knew where it had come from) - there were a few too many details; only smbdy who'd been to certain get together involving the Wales' & the Hamburys could hv known those details a) acertain party, a certain room) - & everybody knew it was a) a load of rubbish/ never happened (any of it) + b) something about when Prince Wm went on a certain Engagement then went out for Dinner with a few male chums (& somebody had said he didn't go home that night; but he had done so, as usual & well before Midnight.)
When it got back to the Wales' circle of friends, ppl were appalled - bc it could only hv come from M (& you do not do that when you are "trying to join a Family - it just didn't add up) but ofc then later it turned out she'd never intended staying. It's all going to come out soon though,
nobody is going to keep her secrets.

I’ve always believed that rumour came from Harry’s wife and I strongly suspect she made an unsuccessful play for William and this was her revenge !! 😉♥️🇨🇦
It has been documented that long ago MM had made a vision board about marrying William and was hoping to get to him and to come between PW and PC. She started these rumors while PC was sick from her pregnancy with Louis. MM has always had it out for Kate. Remember in Netflix there was a clip from an interview of MM (this was before she ever met H) the interviewer asked MM prince William or Harry? and she immediately said Prince William.

That Rose Hanbury is ridiculous. It was well documented this summer that Catherine went to a rave on the grounds of the Hanbury's estate. There were pictures of Rose and Catherine walking happily together. Would Catherine still be friends with Rose if that affair nonsense was true?

@@hazelkirk4491The Hanbury family are well known to William as loyal supporters and friends . Recently William was seen at Aston Villa with his son George and one of Rose's sons which suggests to me that the rumours spread by MM are false.
Giles Coren spitefully made up the gossip about PW and RH. He says it was a joke! What kind of a man does that?

I always thought the hero of the story was Rose's husband. William and Catherine could not comment on or refute any rumours, but the Marquess was very quick to threaten to sue Giles Coren (for defamation?) and the story was quickly denied.

The Queen would not allow the results of the bullying as it was a private household matter. H & M we’re not happy as they wanted a copy it it to destroy the people who were against them.
Not really a private matter in my book. Taxpayers money paying for staff who were being tortured, and the public should be fully told about Markle's evil actions. Even now we should hear.
@@maureenball6733 totally disagree with you. It was was done because so many staff were complaining. I think tortured is being a bit dramatic. Had everyone that had ever worked with the Markle woman come forward before she snared Harry, maybe they wouldn’t have got married. Her family tried to let people know and look what happened to them. The Queen was right. Took action and the Markle woman probably is not allowed in any royal property. Hence her unwillingness to come to the uk.

Also, Shauna, didn't Harry confirm the bullying claims himself by saying in his book that staff were sometimes found crying at their desk? Remember meghan also famously said that it wasn't her job "to coddle staff."

🙋♀️ Brit here, the reporter that "broke" the Rose Hanbury story officially retracted the story 24 hours after he broke it, stating it wasn't true. He got the information after having tea at frogmore (everything can be verified)
Many of the pa team who worked for the sussexes resigned and were then re employed by William and Catherine. If you remember, it's around the same time the bullying allegations were made.
Narcissists always accuse others of what they are doing. Absolutely consistent with Meghan and Harry’s long history of lying to accuse William of an affair as they are dealing with accusations of abusing their staff. Didn’t Harry write in his “memoir” that he found staff to be crying all the time?

You are right about the significance of the reverse idea. The affair story has reappeared a few times usually after a Harkle debacle.
I feel like all this H &M drama has only strengthened HRH Prince William and Catherine’s relationship. William sees and understands how very lucky he is to have such a wonderful partner at his side. God bless them and those beautiful children ❤
I’ve learned that any story by the Sussex sources is absolutely the opposite of the truth! Also Megaliar likes to “project” her hate on things and people where she’s sadly lacking! So if a story comes out about Catherine being lazy and only concerned about raising her children, guess who planted that? M is so transparent it’s laughable for a woman who claimed she was “insanely smart” in school. I’ll accept the insane part! I believe the Royal Family recognize the “ Spare Problem “ in the last 2 generations and have circled the wagons around the Wales Family to allow William and Catherine to PARENT George Charlotte and Louis , not just part time , but FULL TIME, especially during the holidays….. they still do plenty during term time and a few overseas engagements a year ………it’s no less than a working single mum ( as I was after my hubby did a runner because two of our three children had learning difficulties) , when my kids were off , so was I .!!!!

As a Canadian, I am curious as to why you say it was a “Canadian” magazine as the source. Now I am curious which reporter you say is “related” to an ex friend of MM and therefore a source not to be trusted. This could very well be true but I am curious.
@@spiritofanu3112 to be honest I didn't take a lot of notice as I hadn't believed the rumour in the first place, so the article I read I wasn't that interest tho a colleague thought that mm was behind it because of the association made to Jessica Mulroony . I can remember saying you can't believe everything you read .

@@Survivor08 Who are you talking about? If you are talking about TRG, then I agree with you in the sense that she sometimes are unclear about how the monarchy realy works. She tends to think that the king has powers that he really does not have, sort of like it was a hundred two hundred years ago. She also seems to think that oversteps his bounds when it is not the case.
Social media has a lot to answer for. One idiot sends out a made-up tweet or instagram message about an affair, then admits he made it up but it still takes on a life of his own and becomes this 'real, possible, probable, affair'.
This is the way gossip works. It’s vile.
Yes, it is evil. This is the same whether people are slandering the working Royal family or the non-working California couple. Everyone needs to look for more proof instead of believing a PR piece.
My concern is that people will be misled by AI software creating videos of events that never happened. The potential for evil is huge.

That’s what people do… deflect their own bad behaviour by blaming other people of doing the same behaviour to them. We already know from Spare Me that Harold is a hypocrite when it comes to complaining about breaches of privacy when he is guilty of that himself. So it makes sense to me that they might leak stories and then pretend to be the victims of leaked stories. The three of them are proven liars… which unfortunately for them means we can’t believe anything they say now, even if it were true

I’d occasionally buy People magazine at the checkout line for some gossipy relaxation.
I don’t anymore. I don’t purchase any tabloids here anymore, even though it was an occasional splurge.
Before Meghan, I was indifferent to the Royals. I’m not a monarchist, and I’m glad we won our independence.
After Meghan, I became a HUGE fan of both Queen Elizabeth the 2nd, AND an ardent admirer of Princess Catherine.
If the United States had a monarch like Queen Elizabeth, we’d be in a better place.
She was a constant. Prime ministers come and go, as do our presidents.
Queen Elizabeth (The Greatest), had integrity, grace, and dignity. She was a true example of a leader. She was selfless, dutiful, and mindful of others.
I was also under the opinion that MM was the source of the rumours.
Meghan Markle. It was not the reporter who claimed it. Meghan started this rumor and spread it through her Canadian contingent of “friends” who then spread it around the UK through their sources. Meghan was not allowed to go to a state dinner as Harry’s gf. Of course she felt all protocol should be ignored and allow her to not only go, but go as Harry’s gf. That didn’t happen.
But Harry went and had to escort Rose Hanbury to her seat AND entertain her through dinner. Thus Rose became an unwitting agent to attack William & Catherine through made-up affair rumors so Meghan could attack all three of her perceived “enemies.” 🙄
That's exactly what I think happened. Markle got pissed that she didn't get her way, so she then invented the story, fed it to Giles (and probably several others), and Giles drunkenly posted it on social media. Poor Rose, William, and Catherine, but especially Rose, since she's not a public figure. W&C most likely expect lunatics to say stupid things about them, but I'm sure Rose never expected to be so viciously attacked. Poor lady just wants to live a quiet life with her husband and children.
Exactly. I traced it back on Twitter once. It looked like a timed release because it hit Twitter from several places about the same time. First there was a rumbling of a tiff in to Norfolk circle of friends. (How is this news, by the way? When do adults report on a tiff in another adult friendship circles to global media outlets??!) and then hours later the rumor sprang forth from Giles Coren (just coming from a boozy Amsterdam SoHo where the pair had been), Lainey Gossip (friend of M, Jessica M, and Scobie), and a prominent Sugar investigator on Twitter. Then, almost simultaneously came articles from sunshine sach’s fav publications. As if they already had articles ready to publish. How odd.

It all stemmed from jealousy. So typical of narc’s & jealous people. Spread damaging gossip without facts and attempt to ruin others reputations. Yes, it was the Trump dinner and they were assigned as dinner partners. I'm sure they have know each other of a long time. Rose's husband is a figure at court. meghan has never understood the tradition that you are separated from your partner at high society events, to make things more interesting. I'm sure the courtiers figured that Rose would be good with Harry, he couldn't do much damage speaking to a friend who is aware of his behavior.

Funny how the emergence of this story coincided with the popularity of the Wife taking a downward turn. Unfortunately there were people who, for very good reasons, until then had been on the outer circles of royalty who now suddenly saw their chance at being closer to the inner circle and who were only too happy to gleefully spread the gossip in order to be with the in crowd. It was ugly and shocking and most people refused to believe a word of it.

I thought as Americans we had a smidgen of reality, self-respect, and integrity left, but obviously we are losing respect worldwide, and at home too. Between our choices for political leaders (a country as large as ours could surely do better), and how mere actors are treated like gods we seem to have lost our collective minds. Believe it or not, this is primarily a west coast phenomenon, at least in general morals. The bread basket and the south of our country still respect the elderly, those that work for what they have, and those that do good things. While I think some are star-struck by celebrities, I don’t feel like everyone worships them. Rachel Ragland and her husband have lowered the National IQ ever further. I don’t think many of us realized just how fake the humanitarian and other awards are. They are obviously primarily bought and paid for.
