Can someone explain why Ute needs to be on the ground to tighten bolts , given that the weight of the Ute on the springs on axle stands is the same as on wheels on the ground. I’m surprised he didn’t fit camber wedges for correct tail shaft alignment too.
The bottom bush in the strut is bonded. The lower arm needs to be at ride height to tighten. To install the suspension u “would not” have the axle stands under lower control arms. Spring wedges are not needed if the correct spring rate us used.

Buy a fj cruiser and a box trailer. The fj is nearly $20,000 more in Australia than the u.s for the exact same car except the steering wheel is on the other side. (Yes Toyota we know your ripping us off.)
