Just picked up a 17 inch for home and camping and now ready to season it and get cooking. I guess the thing that had me a little apprehensive was the soap and water part but I see it's recommended so going to do it. Thanks for posting your video it was very helpful 👍
Because you normally season iron in an oven, being that it's too big to fit into an oven, it gets the majority of the color where the flame touches because it's still holding heat.
