Wow, I've got actual chills. There are so many spectacular lines just slid into those readings, I can't wait to get the books. The premise is fascinating by itself, but with those renditions bringing the characters to life, and the sheer joy you get from your friends reading what you've written, I can't begin to imagine the fun I'll have reading the books!

MAN, THIS WAS GOLDEN!! Loved every minute of it - I was just rewatching Black Sails and found out by chance about these books. Came here expecting your average author interview or something, and… what a fabulous surprise!!! I absolutely loved the last bit with Zach & Toby, those two (Vane & Rackham) are the best! By the way, to convince so many talented people to work on this, I’m sure Luke must have had to channel his inner Long John Silver 😉🏴☠️

Just finished watching Black Sails for the umpteenth time. Phenomenal seeing everyone. Congrats Luke on your books. Rakham's (Toby Schmidt) one of my favorite but I missed Zethu (Madi) though. Got to buy the 2nd book now. 🥂

Fabulous effort by all. Really inspiring way to promote a book. But I can't help but find it depressing that to date (26 Oct) only 2,906 peeps have watched. Maybe if you include some cats boxing clingfilm-covered toilet seats in Part II you'd get a figure more in the deserved region of 260k by the end of day one. Meh.

Toby Stephens is an amazing audiobook narrator, btw. Listened to quite a few. He does a good 007 for BBC radio too.
