    Love, love, love it. I just went our and gathered my material for blocks this past weekend but will definitely be doing your method. On your video, there is a small patch of the box you did not cover with the wrapping paper. Is that where you glued the stencil and how did you get the background of the letter to look the same as the wrap paper?

    • @SimplyLavish
      @SimplyLavish  Před 7 lety

      Yolanda, I am so glad you found the video useful! The uncovered spot was the bottom - it wouldn't be seen when the blocks are set up. Every place visible (top and sides) are completely covered by the paper. Good Luck and share those pictures with me.

    • @SimplyLavish
      @SimplyLavish  Před 7 lety +2

      I think the one I used was 30" wide. I can't be sure. When you run into that you may have to do some improvising to cover any open spaces. If you have a small area, you can possibly over it with a decoration. A larger area may require more paper.

    • @SimplyLavish
      @SimplyLavish  Před 7 lety +2

      I use old 12x12 floor tiles (I thought I mentioned in the video) they fit nicely in a box that size, are inexpensive even if you don't just have some lying around, and add just enough weight to stabilize them without making them heavy. If you were to use them outside I would double or triple up though.
