Great information Tom! 😊 I love how torquey the 330d is after a good map! And plus, I don’t think I can go with the xdrive, rear wheel drives are soo much more fun 😉
Thanks mate, they do kick u back in the seat😂😎👍🏻
Lots of great information in there, nice tour of the car and good to know all your thoughts on it 💪
Haha he’s uped his game next clarkson 😂
@@330dfam 😂😂
@@the_jnlt_channelthanks mate I love it 😎👍🏻
Have a BMW 300 D M sport Touring in Melbourne Red. A rare colour and makes the car stand out compared to the usual boring grey or black as car designers have lost the plot with black wheels and off roaders like defenders. Great handling apart, from the snow, good performance, economy and ergonomics would class as quite poor really as just gives what it is good at and little more, as would cost them. Saab owner 30 years and one of the last Saab 5 2.3 Aero had superb ergonomics and would put BMW to shame, except no competition on that front now as people seem happy driving around in trucks on armchairs, called SUVs, causing huge risk to other motorist and pedestrians. What more do you need than a fuel efficient BMW Touring, able to carry 5 adults and their luggage, so a huge selling point
NICE CAR AND EVERY THING YOU NEED FOR LONG DISTANCE TRAVEL . INSURANCE FULL NO CLAIMS MINE 300 POUNDS SAGA MUST BE MY OLD AGE
Thanks mate I’m not too young myself😂, good pice that tho just under 1/2 price of mine 😎👍🏻
Black wheels black mirrors black windows it would look nice, but I’m old school to and like the standard look,my f30 320d is standard I’ve got a head full of mods but once I’ve cleaned it i think oh she looks nice, but then it’s back to big wheels black this black that ect ect lol ,lovely car tom i wish i had gone for f31 but thought wife wouldn’t like it so bought f30 which i love but i do love the look of f31
Thanks mate, I love it, might add the sill extensions tho 🤔😎👍🏻
@@Tom-dz7of I’m on the fence with those i do like them but nearly every f30 you see has them.
@@leenlou3562 I know mate but they do look good😂😎👍🏻
That review couldn't be any better very well explained. My f30 330d just passed the 100000 mark. 650£ for insurance (up from 520£ 9 years ncb) for no apparent reason. I am 36 based in South East. We all pay for inflation cost but I think it's still reasonable price. Btw stage 1 not reported as there is no way for them to know - the vehicle looks exactly the same haha. I can't imagine driving 320d after being on 330d for nearly 4 years - the torque is so addictive. The only thing you would benefit from 320d is about 5 mpg extra and probably slightly cheaper insurance, road tax and service.
Hi thanks, I know could imagine having a 320d 😂😎👍🏻
Thanks mate, glad u liked it, we just love our 330ds 😂😎👍🏻
Sadly your car is uninsured. A big smash and they will check it out . Not worth the risk mate .
@@ianpalmer4840 Hi Ian unless something has changed in the past few years I highly doubt someone would bother to check software etc in an event of write off. The car is totally standard apart from the software touch - no downpipes no egr delete no nothing. I have had a car written off (same story) in the past which wasn't my fault and they just paid it off. Technically you are right though. One thing I wouldn't do is what a couple of friends did - swapped the run flats for normal tyres to improve the ride without reporting it - that's something which can get a potential claim rejected straight away.
@@ianpalmer4840 good job mods are declared then, but honestly don’t think they’d look into software unless you were doing over 150mph 🤔😎👍🏻
Hi mate where did you get the front splitter from
Hi mate, The lower corner splitters were from Amazon the upper ones were off eBay 😎👍🏻
I didnt know you could just map put the egr without removing it ?!? Is there any need to remove it if you can just map it out ?
Neither did I mate, but as mine is literally a month old as it’s just been changed, he said there’s no danger of it leaking gasses in the inlet with the valve closed. I’ll probably blank it as some point to be safe, but now won’t have to get it mapped again 😎👍🏻
Has toms got the selectable coasting function in eco pro settings. My 64 plate f36 doesn’t have this option. Guessing mines an earlier version of the ZF 8 sp auto box.
I’ll have to check mate, can’t say it’s something Iv ever noticed 😎👍🏻
Did anyone else notice the cargo cover isn’t missing after all? It’s tucked away in the floor in its standard storage spot?
Hi mate, am I missing something? The luggage support is there, but not the cover for the boot 🤷🏼♂️😎👍🏻
@@330dfamyou’re absolutely correct! I thought it was there too. My bad!
You paid £14k and thought that was astronomical?? Can’t get one for that even now
Hi mate, it’s Tom, there were cheaper ones about but the spec colour, I had to have it, wished I had pano roof and m sport brakes, I’d trade them in for lane assist 😂, prices have gone up the LCI e91s good spec still go for 8-10k so guess it happy😎👍🏻
Just got a 335d 70k not a top spk but some car boys 🚀 15k
@westmidlandslandscaping6885 not bad price that mate 😎👍
Had one for 4 years and it's the best car I've had, didn't even put a bulb in it, got a Jag xf now and it's 🐕🦺💩
Hi mate we love them …maybe it’s time to go back to a bmw 👍😎
@@330dfam I'm currently looking at 435d's, no more jags that's for sure 😄
@gordonfisher8842 yeah a 435d would be a great motor holding there money at the moment 👍
@@gordonfisher8842hi mate, do it I’d say you won’t be disappointed, love the 4 series and a good engine to go for 😎👍🏻
