The concert was in the Jockey Club of Sao Paulo and at a certain point I went outside to see some horses trainning. Suddenly a guy comes to watch it as well, it was Ralph Schneider and we had a chat about.......horses. I was amazed, mainly because he's a very private man. Believe me, it is true.

As to what Schnitzler says toward the end..making music with foreign, "non-music" sounds, orchestrating with sounds that aren't emitted from an instrument, this was not a new idea. I can think of one interview with Frank Zappa where he is a guest on some show, and he literally orchestrates the audience clapping, it's amazing. But then again, Zappa adored Kraftwerk.

FYI: The song at the beginning, uses Apple loops, this makes it plausable that it was made either on Garageband or Logic X. Therefore it seems legit, the fact that it was made for this documentary...
seriously? it seems like he can speak some english at least. i'd hazard a guess it's his second language. i can attest when i listen to people talking in my second language (remember native and fluent speakers talk much faster too), it can be a little hard to understand.
They are the older generation who didn't had the internet, English podcast and movies that allowed you to switch the language to English. They were mostly surrounded by German media and language. It's hard to iron out your English speech without some sort of immersion or having some teacher that really hammers it home.
