I have straight fine hair. I have tried this bun multiple times with various results. I find the best results, with my hair, is to use a velvet or velour type scrunchy. The hair sticks to the material and the scrunchy gives it volume. I like your messy bun too. Great tutorial!

I saw those exact videos a million times so I decided to try them. It worked like 10% of the times. It freaked me out the fact I couldn't get it. It still doesn't work for me all the times but when it does it feels really comfortable once in (a little painful putting it in) because it doesn't pull really hard on my scalp.

I think the 2nd bun is like the first the difference is that it only goes around once instead of twice and the second she doesnt grab the hair to push it go go around it's just pushed back by her hand. I can see how both are done but can't actually get it to form myself.🤔

I like your version best. I have super thick medium curly hair and this is my weekend go to style with the coiled elastic. I add a "spin pin" on each side and it stays all day.

You’re version is so much easier to achieve. I’m not great at doing my hair and trying to figure out the hand flips for these buns stresses me out haha. And by the way this is totally random but the lip color you’re wearing is so pretty! I must know what it was.

I was so frustrated, I was on the verge of tears from all the times I tried to make the other tutorials work before this video. I do my go to every day bun just like you do. I mean literally exactly the same 😊 I also do another bun that's a little more fancy and neater. I do the same steps as normal, but the ends that are left out I will do a braid and pull it out some to loosen it, then wrap it around the base and bobby pin it in place.
