My husband and I stayed in the second condo for 6 weeks a couple of years ago. The location was excellent and worth paying the extra to stay there. The apartment was small but very modern, bright and clean. Great views too! We absolutely loved our stay there and hope we can go back one day.
Ps. Watching this video has made me feel so nostalgic. 😭😭 can’t wait to go back to Thailand after Covid is over 😢
PPS: my husband and I love your videos!! My husband will message me and say “Chris has a new video out” 😂
I am also Canadian (from Newfoundland but living in Australia).
We love that you take time to help others around Thailand. We have donated some money to your next cause 💕
    Thank you 🙏

I’ve called on 6 different condos from various videos in the last 3 days. All that returned my message said that particular unit was rented or sold but they have another one available that costs more and not as big or nice. Hmm, in the US that’s called “bait and switch”. I’m here, in Thailand, headed out this weekend to look for a place

We have a 3 bedroom House in the Village across the mall from the cheap condo. Its awesome. Very secure, two gates, no such thing as following a car in, once you pass the first gate you gotta stop at the second... The Security guys are awesome too. They will literally check your mail if you want them to... Its been sitting Vacant for 2 years because we went through immigration process in the USA and Covid delayed it. We are all good now, just waiting to be allowed back in. We had the place cleaned after 20 months of nobody inside. We paid a lady 500 Baht and she asked if she could bring another person. Of course we said yeas so 1000 baht to completely clean the house. It cost 2500 baht to trim our trees and do the gardening and believe me it was a lot of work. two truckloads of trimmings... Thailand is awesome

I spent some tine was in Chang Mai in 1979-80. It was a small town one could walk around or use the bicycle rickshaws. There were no Tuk Tuk's. The towns limits were not far beyond the old walled fortress and moat. Stayed in what was then Mee's guest house on the river across from the foot bridge. I ended up being Mr. Mee's driver for his wedding on a farm out in the rice area just outside of the town

$500 for a smaller condo? Ehhh, yea I get it’s in the most modern neighborhood but nah. Well the 2nd unit is far more expensive than it should be. 27sqm? for 500$? no, you can do better than that in Chiang Mai. For 15,000B (500$) you can find 2-bed / 2-bath condos very easily, especially now in Corona times. There are many deals now in Chiang Mai. You can get a condo double the size or more for 15K. This is much too expensive.

excellent content as always Chris 👍 would you mind making similar review contents on secondary & high schools in Thailand.. especially the curriculum, teacher's quality, facilities and fees.. Really appreciate as not many youtuber provided these details (there are only handful of old ones)
Thinking on moving there once all dust are settled, with my secondary & high school kids

Thanks for your video. Each time I watch one, I want to get on a plane to BKK which would be much better than the semi-lockdown in TO. I liked everything about the condo in Nimman, but it looked a bit too small. Again, thanks for your videos, very inspiring!

Both are so nice but I'd want to be in the Niman part of the city. Everything is within walking distance so it would be worth the premium price. Thanks for going on these excursions and showing us what's available.

They both are nice, but all things being equal, I would have to go with the first one. Love all you little ways you get Stanley Kubrick into your videos. What would be even funnier is if there was a small thai town named Redrum

First one, though cheaper, is outside city area and seems you will need a car or a motorbike to get around (notice a no.of cars parked). 2nd is more expensive but you can walk or take public transport (or get a bike)

The gym and pool were definitely nicer at the first place but the second condo was much nicer.
